46' Liberty 458

Fitted out and ready for Bluewater cruising, the Liberty 458 is recognized as one of the finest of the classic Taiwanese cruising vessels built in the 1980's.
Built in the Shin Fa boatyard in Taiwan, where their focus on quality build and structural integrity has stood the test of time.
Strongly build from hand-laid glass and lined with clear Burmese Teak. If you love boats, you will surely appreciate the warm polished teak, bronze ports, and sumptuous amenities including wine cabinet, romantic lighting, and all the elegance of times past. Scroll-carved solid teak banisters and thick handrails on either side of the companionway steps give you the first indication of what you are about to enter. The cabins boasts extensive use of hand-rubbed teak, warm interior lighting, and strategically placed deck prisms for natural light. All of the interior bulkheads are covered with solid teak vertical staving. All ceilings as well as the hullsides have solid horizontal teak battens. There are marble countertops in the heads and galley. Living aboard is comfortable with excessive amounts of storage throughout the vessel, a very useable sea galley with a refrigerator/freezer and three burner range and oven and microwave oven. The huge aft stateroom has magnificent storage, a raised queen bed with a memory foam mattress, and a head with shower. Opening ports starboard and port create excellent ventilation. The gorgeous cabinetry includes a full-length hanging locker, drawers, and great storage everywhere.

This vessel has spent the last 1/4 of its life either on hard or on the freshwater Great Lakes.

Australis has a very usable and comfortable galley. The marble countertops are lovely and the deep stainless sinks will be appreciated by all. A -Seagull filter, effective against bacteria, has been installed to make the water clean and safe.
