Description: |
1980 Tartan 37 C Extremely capable and just fun to sail. The Tartan 37 is considered one of todays classic cruising yachts. Designed by Sparkman and Stephens for off shore sailing, her excellent construction and surprisingly spacious interior make her a great boat, proven and reliable.
Peacemaker is a documented vessel with the USCG, extensively upgraded and regularly sailed. The previous owner sailed her through the Caribbean and we refitted and updated her over the past few years. We sail her most weekends, year round, and have made some incredible week long trips throughout the Carolinas. I cant stress how much fun this boat is to sail (in all weather) and how great shes treated us on overnight trips.
Our Tartan 37 is for sale because we had another kid and want to find a sailboat with another cabin for the kids. We are still using her most weekends.
This vessel is in the sailing capital of North Carolina, Oriental NC, in the water, ready to sail.
Check out reviews on the Tartan 37 from Practical Sailor, Cruising World, and the very active owners site.
