33' Joe fennel Liberty 28

Midnight Rider is a 1977 Liberty 28. Her hull is hand laid solid fiberglass with a double ender design based off the colin archer lifeboats similar to the Westsail 32 and Ingrid 38. Featuring a keel stepped mast, full keel, cutter rig, and oversized standing rigging she is exceptionally stout yet easy to sail by an individual or couple. Her small size and simple gear make her easy and cheap to maintain by the owner particularly abroad. Over the course of my 4 year stewardship I have twice taken her to Mexico and back by way of the offshore clipper route during which she proved to be safe and comfortable. I have consistently been maintaining and upgrading her systems with the goal of having a vessel comfortably equipped to live off grid at anchor and capable of safely crossing oceans.
