Willow is a 1979 Young Sun "Westwind" 35 inspired by Bob Perry and built in Taiwan with the same shipyard professionalism as the next door Tayana yard. She is a heavy double-ended full keel blue-water sailboat that draws 5' 6". I spent a good part of last year working on the boats systems, all of which are in fine repair. I also hauled her, power washed and scraped the hull, and painted it with anti-fouling paint ten months ago. The Yanmar three lunger was recently rebuilt, has about 800 hours on it, and runs like a watch. The hull has been Interlux epoxy coated and is 100 blister-free. The few cracks in the exterior teak has been epoxied, then left to weather naturally. I have recently published a novel and will be busy with publicity in the coming year, so Willow is going up for sale. Sails Genoajib, staysail, mainsail, storm jib and main, older spare mainsail, gennaker cruising chute.
