Description:
One of the smallest blue-water cruisers, the Monsun is the best seller of all time by Hallberg-Rassy with no less than 904 yachts delivered to all over the world.

Boat still displaying original gelcoat after all these years, which is a proof of the HR workmanship and quality of construction. The interior, very warm and cozy (lots of wood) is still in excellent condition considering her age.

Boat equipped for ocean crossing, having a Monitor wind-vane, a marine SSB radio (ICOM), a Furuno Weather-fax, a cabin heater Force 10, and many other features. A new Profurl
roller-furler (oversized) was installed, with a new heavy-duty -all purpose- genoa newly made for it, which have been used only for two seasons.

The core electrical wiring was almost completely re-done, using heavy gauge marine wire, and including an externally regulated alternator and Balmar external regulator.

Key spear parts, like an alternator and a starting motor for the engine included.

Boat located in Puglia, South Italy

Equipment:
Sails:
2 Mains, both in good shape, once modified for slab reefing, while the other still under the original rotating-boom reefing system.
1 Heavy working jib (8 ounces dacron and tripple stitched), new for the crossing.
1 set of storm sails (Try-sail and storm-jib).
1 older and tired spinaker.

Engine:
Volvo Penta MD2020, 18HP, year 2003 and with only 900 hours of use at the moment. The shaft and propeller were also replaced for new ones.

Inflatable dinghy in good shape, new in 2010 and only used 2 seasons (keeping it inflated and indoors for the rest of the time since then).

3 Anchors: Main Delta type 10KG, secondary Bruce type 7.5KG, and then an emergency heavy FOB 20Kg and CQR. Also an anchor for the dinghy.
Note: Boat does not have Windlass, so all anchor sets consist of a combination of chain and rode.

Life raft on deck, althogh expired a long time ago, so a new one should be fitted.

LP Gas valve with solenoid, best of its kind (by Marinetics Corp)

Boat does NOT have pressurized water, neither water heater.
