25' O'DAY 25

For sale is a 1978 O'Day 25 keel/center board shoal draft. 27" with board up. Great bay/canal boat. Brand new roller furling head sail cost $650 (never used). CDI flexible furler. Main sail in good shape, 2006 9.9 hp electric start Honda outboard. New fuel lines and rebuilt carb. Engines runs great. Solar panel to keep the new marine battery topped off. Engine also charges battery. New depth finder with keel offset preset. Great space for a 25 footer. I'm 6ft and can stand in main cabin. Tons of storage throughout. Nice hanging locker in forward cabin. 2 burner alcohol stove, awesome deep ice box. Needs water tank. Sinks in galley and head. Newer cushions interior and cockpit in great shape. New soft touch cabin fan and rewired control panel. No funky boat smell. Pics show overall condition. Current forestay is about an inch too long (got off a Catalina). Good used ones for this boat run about $100. Running rigging is serviceable but should be replaced as needed. A great boat for a moderately experienced sailor who can perform normal maintenance. No trailer. On the hard at Great Bay Marina, Little Egg Harbor. Next to travel lift. I'd advise some online research on this model, you won't be disappointed. Price reflects all. Price is Firm.
