1977 Catalina 27 sailboat for sale. I have restored this sailboat from very poor condition to good condition. I professionally do carpentry and fiberglass work. The hull is sound and in great condition now. I have repaired all damage and dings. As far as the hull I have repaired all patches professional finished, new thru hull fittings and sea cocks, fresh eco bottom paint, brand new topside paint, mahogany rub rail (still have old rubber one in fine condition), and more. The deck I have repaired every patch, rebedded, reinforced, and installed the railings (including some welding and reglassing of stern metal reinforcement), installed two portholes, sealed everything no leaks coming inside, and only have not got to painting and re skidding the deck. The helm was converted from tiller handle to wheel helm and has an autopilot attached (have not checked how it works yet or is missing another part) Atomic 4 inboard runs and i have work on the transmissions to get it going. I have also installed an outboard mount on the stern. It is the garelick heavy duty 4 stroke mount and i also reinforced the stern on the inside. I have a 15hp evinrude 2 stroke I would offer with it for an extra 500$. The rigging and sails are in good condition and are all included and ready to sail. Two newer battery banks included with smaller solar panels to keep the charge for light things (such as engine turnover, bilge, etc.) Interior has been completely CLEANED (I mean a deep hard clean) and am in the process of re finishing. I have installed new bulk head walls with marine ply wood, new galley, new cushions and more. I am currently still working on interior finishing such as shelves, head area (it does have a head), some galley characteristic, and more. It is very clean now tho and actually sleep on it from time to time and cook on alcohol burning stove. This Catalina 27 is very roomy for its size and is a solid sailboat. It has been in the water for the past 2 summers and sailing after lots of work put into it. If interested get in contact with me. |
