Timeout
Time Out is part of our family history, she has only had three owners. The original owner who was a doctor from Annapolis who lived onboard with his family for a year, and she was fully fitters for cruising, she was featured in Cruising Magazine. After sailing the Caribbean she sailed for many years in the Chesapeake Bay. My father bought her in 1995 in Annapolis and she sailed from Annapolis to Recife, which became her new home. In 2009, she sailed to the BVIs and she was fitted with a new Volvo Penta Engine and the latest electronics installed, this presents a very nice package in a great sailing heavy cruising also the entire hull topsides re-coated with a high quality and beautifully applied Gel Coat finish. Her fairness and gloss are superior to most new boats we see here, and this really makes her jump out. In 2013 I purchased her from my father and sailed her from the BVIs to Lima, Peru where her interior was totally refitted in 2014, we sailed her to Panama where she is right now in dry dock at the Shelter Bay Marina. She has been maintained and cared for as a member of the family.
Unfortunately we have decided to part with Timeout, because we now live in Switzerland. She is truly a sea-bearing vessel that is safe and a pleasure to sail in any weather condition. |
