Description: |
This Evelyn 25', the fourth in Bob Evelyn's series of 6, is a MOHRC champion. Since then she's had significant upgrades which have made her a winner in Bay races. She's had all new hardware and winches. The boat is set up for cross sheeting even genoa. Antal winches, clutches, genoa tracks and turning blocks. A carbon beam was put in place to lift traveler up to give it more track length and also to give the skipper more space.
A bulkhead was put under the cockpit to stiffen the cockpit floor along with the rudder post. Stanchion knees were put in place to stiffen the deck and hull. Mast step was rebuilt and stiffened to support mast loads. Hull was painted with awl craft 2000 and deck sprayed with gelcoat nonskid. For cosmetic reasons only, she could use repainting. Hull is divinvycell so no worries with rot. |
