Caliber 40 (LRC) "Serena"
"Serena" was custom built for its present experienced yacht owner by Caliber Yachts Inc. in Clearwater Florida, and incorporates all the latest design experience of this quality blue water sailboat builder plus numerous unique owner upgrades.
This 2003 Caliber 40, Long Range Cruiser (LRC) meets all those expectations. The 40 LRC has standard features like Water Tight Collision Bulkhead, Water-Tight Rudder Dam, Caliber Smart Electrical System, Caliber Smart Fuel System, Convertible Cutter Rig and much more.
With her large capacity fuel and water tanks, "Serena" is set up for long distance sailing and live-aboard with 3 custom solar panels. She is fitted with a large "fridge/freezer", propane stove with two propane tanks and a lot of storage space. She has two double berths, two heads, each with hot/cold pressure shower facilities, a large comfortable salon with a capacious extending dining table, and a chart table and seat at the electrical panel.

•Diesel DC generator that is capable of powering the A/C and located above the Yanmar diesel power plant so it is not compromising access to other equipment
•Her Hard fiberglass California dodger top is fitted with 5 panels of hard, very clear acrylic, "Easy To See Why" glass, and the bimini and dodger accommodate 6.1 feet with 4 detachable side curtains which stow nicely above rear state room
•300 Watt solar panels above the bimini with a Solar boost digital read out regulator
•Rain water collection system which is easy to set up
•Two rear rail comfortable cockpit seats with cushions
•Individual sun covers for most of the teak and another to cover most of the entire boat.
•New 120% Genoa in February 2017. Boat has been meticulously maintained by owner with a complete maintenance log and extensive spare parts.
•Four person life raft fitted to the rear rail
•Owner will give mechanical guidance and help with his knowledge about "Serena" to the new owner for an extended time period
