Description: |
This lovely flush-decked sailboat has the pedigree of a proven open-ocean yacht, which has 10's of thousands of sea miles under her keel. She has been from 43° North to 43° South in all weather conditions, with two trans-Atlantic crossings, most countries of the Mediterranean, thru the Suez canal to Egypt, Sudan, Djibouti, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, Noumea, the Samoa's, the Solomons, five Tasman Sea crossings, Japan, and much more. She is a safe, strong, deep-sea boat that can go anywhere…and has. Her well built hull is balsa core, with a stronger than normal layup on both the inside and outside skins. This makes her a quiet boat to sail, in addition to being insulated. She is a great liveaboard, with 3 double staterooms, 1 large quarter berth, an office, a very large saloon, and 2 heads. There is no osmosis in the hull due to the outer layup of biaxial cloth, using vinyl ester resin rather than the normal polyester. There are tons of storage spaces in this large boat. With most of the tankage in the keel, under every bunk, saloon or quarter berth seat, there is a place for everything. Those of us who do world cruising know how important storage space is, to carry all the spares, clothes, and of course toys. |
