Description:
The Beneteau Oceanis 281 is a wonderful boat to use as a comfortable day sailer or cruiser, because it has many big boat features in a somewhat smaller hull.

I easily sail this boat on the LI Sound by myself or with one other person. It fits two families for the day or 3-4 couples for a sunset cruise.

I have netting on the lifelines so that the kids can walk all around. it moves well in light breeze and I sometimes keep the jib furled so the kids can sit up front with their friends.

I bought this boat when my children were young (maybe too young). My children have not taken to the sailing lifestyle and I can't justify keeping the boat for the few times I get to take it out every season.

I will be bringing her from the boatyard to Larchmont Yacht Club next week. You really need to see this beauty.

Equipment:
She is well maintained and has received many equipment upgrades including; New Main, Jib, Head, Water Pump, Lines, Garmin Navigation System, UHF with mast mounted antenna and they installed a windlass.
