Description: |
The Pearson 26 is a well regarded pocket cruiser, weekender, and day sailor. Leona has proved herself time and time again to be a capable vessel fulfilling each of these roles. She completed a Delmarva circumnavigation (2 people) in 2013, 2 week-long cruises (3 people) throughout the Chesapeake, and countless weekend trips and daysails.
She'll take you anywhere on the bay with ease and has been upgraded over the years for comfortable cruising. I'm reluctantly putting her up for sale because I'm moving up to a bigger boat.
Notable selling points particular to Leona are a slip in back creek paid through October, a new rudder with stainless steel shaft added in 2013 (no need to worry about the old problem-prone aluminum shaft!), and a sandblasted and barrier coated keel done in 2012 (can provide receipts). I also added a stern rail (an optional feature when the P26 was built) to hold a 100w solar panel and a Force 10 gas grill. Additionally, Leona comes with a hard bottom rowing dinghy that fits nicely on deck.
