Description: |
PRICE REDUCED!!! This Challenger staysail ketch is an awesome deal. This yacht was the post-retirement project of a licensed contractor and pilot. As such, the dosumentation of everything that has been done is immaculate. The electrical system has been completely refitted, the Nissan SD22 engine has been rebuilt (less than 50 hrs), the sails and rigging are ready to go, the plumbing has been refitted, the cushions have been redone... this boat is ready to sail.
Imagine a yacht where every circuit is functional, every faucet works, and there are no gremlins in the system!
The only issues with this yacht are cosmetic in nature. The hull was repainted with an interlux tip and roll. It is a clean job, but not the best finish possible. Some of the interior still needs to be stripped and revarnished. The teak and holly sole neds to be varnished, and the painted plywood headliner should be recovered.
A 50-page survey was conducted on 5/1/15 and is available to those with a serious interest.
Again, this yacht is ready to sail now... and revarnish later!!! |
Equipment: |
Staysail ketch with newer sails, new water system, new hot water heater, new ships electrical, new cushions...
2 anchors and approx 150' rode. Garmin electronics, tailing winches, ground tackle... complete yacht!
I am assisting the owner with this sale. I performed the survey, so feel free to ask me what you will. You will be dealing directly with the owner for payment and title transfer. |
