Description: |
Heres my Grampian 26. She is a 1968, Shoal draft (swing keel was sealed up), Masthead sloop. She is getting on in years, but is still a great boat, she needs some cleaning but is solid.
The Essentials: *(ENGINE SOLD)* NO ENGINE*She takes a small outboard 6-9HP is appropriate. 2 jibs, 1 main. lights were changed to LED Solar panels, to charge the batteries. 2 y.o. cushions!
The grampians are heavily built boats, and they boast some of the largest space below deck, with standing headroom at 6'. The boat weighs 5600lbs, and the iron keel weighs 2600lbs so almost half her weight is in the keel, which makes this a very stiff, stable, an forgiving boat in heavier air.
Interior and exterior are fine, just needs to get cleaned up (messy from sitting), paint, some light work etc. But nothing major. (Cushions are brand new, look great and were stored indoors)
Lot of boat for the money, she's old but everything is there, extras like life jackets, anchors etc..Overall she is an easy boat to maintain, and a pleasure to sail.
Household obligations are the reason for selling.
Asking $1200, Or best offer. I am negotiable because she is an older boat
