Up for sale is a 1983 custom hotfoot 27' sailboat. The boat has been completely tricked out with swept back spreaders, adjustable forestay, retractable proder, new roachey main, removed toerails, faired and painted decks. All modifications were professionally done. The boat has been painted bright red, professionally sprayed with 2 coats of awl grip paint. The boats bottom was just painted with 2 coats of balltoplate on (8/1/14), hill was also waxed at this time . The boat has a 2014 Tohatsu 6hp that starts in 1-2 pulls every time, great little engine. The boat also comes with a carbon spinnaker pole with a new symmetrical spinnaker. Comes with an asymmetrical spinnaker, all sheets are newer and included. all the running rigging ha been replaced and in good working order. Boat has two mains, 3 jibs, and two kites. The boat is very light (3600) and performs very well in light stuff with the assymetrical and large main. In breeze it performs much better than a SC 27 or a j-27 upwind. In breeze I tend to think the symmetrical kite is better considering the rating difference. The boat is an amazing cruiser as well. I am 6'5" and go cruising in comfort around the sound and san Juan's. The forward v-berth is 6'7" long! All wood work and upholstery inside is very nice and well maintained. About 6'2" of headroom, very comfy. Comes with nice stereo system inside with iPod jack. All running lights are functioning properly. New battery was put in the boat in July, holds a charge forever. Had new plexi glass windows installed on the boat last summer. Come check it out anytime, I can take any interested party out for a sale on Elliott Bay. Struck a gold mine via connections at Elliott bay and got a 32' slip for $225/month. That price is unheard-of for around here. |
