A high performance Cruiser/Racer yacht, the New York 36 was designed by architect Bill Cook and was built by W.D. Schlock Corp. in 1981 as One-Design cruiser/racer for New Yacht Yacht Club. "Evergreen" is Hull number 48 (1982) of 60 boats built and is well equipped for both cruising and for Club competition (PHRF base rating 108 and 117 with rating adjustments).
