This is the only K38 ketch ever built...built by Jim Krogen specifically for his personal use. If you are interested in a K38...this is the king of all of them. K38's look a little like a pirate ship. With her mizzen, this one really looks like a pirate ship. She has not been on the market since the 1980's. This is a once-in-a-lifetime dream of a boat. She sails very well under autohelm and manueveres very well under power in tight quarters. She has a staggering amount of storage space, and an engine compartment which has enough room for four people work on her at the same time. The cockpit fits about 12 adults. This vessel does not have a fireplace. She has a queen bed and a V-birth. The stateroom closest to the companionway on other K38's was forfeited in lieu of a larger cockpit.
