The Helsen Signature 470 Cruiser/Racer offshore sailboat - a joint custom project developed by Johannes “Jopie” Helsen, Hunter Marine and the Sailor’s Wharf Yacht Yard - takes the next step in bluewater cruising design. This luxurious yacht of beautiful proportions offers the seasoned sailor all the sailing features for serious bluewater cruising or racing. The designer created this innovative yacht from years of experience from ocean racing, cruising, building boats (over 2000) and owning the Sailor’s Wharf Yacht Yard. JADE is his personal boat that has cruised the Bahamas, won numerous races including the Mexico Race in 2012 and is setup to be able to single hand for an afternoon sail or for long voyages. Jopie Helsen has placed JADE on the market so he can concentrate on his next boat project.
