The Sabre 42 has a very accomodating interior. Starting forward she features a large owner's cabin with a double v-berth, storage shelves outboard, good drawer space, a large hanging locker and a vanity sink. Moving aft through the privacy door you enter the main salon where you will find an L-shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth and features a bulk-head mounted drop leaf table for dining which hides a magazine rack mounted under. Opposite to starboard is a straight settee which can also be utilized as a single berth. Both settees are over 6' in length. There is storage above and outboard in shelves, cabinets, and drawers. Continuing aft to port is the galley and features a 3 burner propane stove top with oven, separate refrigeration and icebox compartments and a double ss sink with hot and cold pressure water. Galley sink and lavatories features foot pump as well as pressure water. Opposite the galley to starboard you will find the aft facing navigation station with room for electronics, a chart table with storage under, chart storage and the electrical panel. Aft of the nav station is the marine head within easy access of the companionway, featuring a marine head, sink with vanity and shower both with hot and cold pressure water. The aft cabin is to port aft of the galley and has a large double berth, hanging locker, an access door to the marine head and 6'5" head roon in the changing area. There is a teak and holly sole and teak bulkheads and ceilings throughout and a soft headliner. There are a total of 12 opening ports, 8 hatches, and four dorade vents providing good ventilation and makes for a very comfortable cruising interior while underway, on the hook or at the dock. |
