44' Gulfstar Sloop

We took on this restoration project 4 years ago, as the boat had been neglected. We fully rebuilt the Perkins engine to its original condition and replaced subsidiary parts, going through all the systems to repair/replace as needed. The full list of all we did as a labor of love is listed below. The boat shines now, and sails beautifully. Even though we are in excellent health the Captain is now 75 and first Mate 65, so we need to think outside the boat. By the way we owned a sister ship for many years and sailed it all over the South Pacific. These boats are truly ocean worthy vessels, beautifully designed, performance cruisers, perfect for a couple or family, live aboard or sail away.
