Tough as nails. This ruggedly-built steel sailboat was built in BC by a professional welder/fabricator and launched in 1999. She is fully constructed in steel, including steel decks, cabin & solid life rails. "Eos" is a proven capable heavy weather sailor and is well equipped and ready for living aboard, coastal or offshore passages. The boat was constructed with ease of use, strength and economy in mind. She is a tough, graceful, a sweet sailor, very stable, sea-worthy working live-aboard boat, not a yacht. Where the Eos lacks finesse in interior finishing she makes up for in strength & durability. You will have no worries about other boats knocking into you in the marina, or damage to the hull if you do run aground. Eos is reminiscent of the days of working sail.
