The J/32 is a capable, fast, coastal cruiser/daysailer. This particular example is extremely well equipped for shorthanded or singlehanded operation. The deck hardware is from Harken, Schaeffer and Lewmar, and there is a full complement of new electronics from Raymarine. The running rigging is all new in 2024, as well as the mainsail, dodger, electronics and more. The navigation lighting is all LED. You'll search far to find a better equipped, easier to sail, more comfortable and faster boat in this size range. The cabin is bright and airy thanks to 11 Lewmar opening and screened ports and hatches, as well as J/Boats use of light woods and white surfaces where appropriate. The L shaped galley has a big, 6 cubic foot icebox, a 2 burner LPG stove with oven and broiler and lots of storage. There's also a door from the galley that leads to one of two huge cockpit lockers. Aft to port is the nice sized head with shower. Below the lavatory is a 5 gallon hot water tank and storage outboard. There's also a big area for hanging foul weather gear or wet lines. The main salon features two 6'4" berths, one of which converts to a double. There's also a two leaf drop-down dining table that serves 4-6. You'll find abundant storage behind and below the settees, and there's LED lighting throughout the cabin. Forward of the main bulkhead is a large V-berth as well as several drawers, cupboards and a hanging locker. There's also some easily accessible storage below the V-berth. To sum it up, like all J/boats, this boat is fast and fun to sail and it's also comfortable, clean and dry. |
