PRICED TO REFLECT THAT THERE IS SOME WORK TO BE DONE. MAIN AREAS: SIDE DECK REFURBISHMENT TO BE COMPLETED, REPLACE CANVAS, REFURBISH FRONT CABIN, BOTTOM PAINT. NONE OF THE ABOVE PREVENTS THE BOAT BEING SAILED OR USED AS A LIVEABOARD, SHE IS TOTALLY HABITABLE AND FABULOUS TO SAIL.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND PHOTOS AVAILABLE.
- I purchased this sailboat at the end of 2015 and have pretty much constantly been a liveaboard, sailing over 10,000m solo in the Caribbean waters since. - Currently anchored off Grenada, everything listed is real time, boat set for sailing, can be lived on immediately, everything functions how it should, I live simply and keep the boat in a clean and uncluttered condition. - The boat was last hauled out between 11/2019 and 05/2020, got stuck in the yard during Covid, the hull was sanded back to the original gelcoat and any flaws or blemishes in the gelcoat were made good using West Systems epoxy, before 5 coats of International 2000E grey barrier coat were applied, followed by a Hempel ablative antifoul. To be honest the antifoul needs redoing, it has lost its anti-growth properties, which is not surprising after 4 years back in the water, that said I manage the hull with regular cleaning at anchor.
- A new Morse BM0500 30mm cutless bearing was fitted to the prop shaft, 05/2020. - Standing rigging replaced by previous owner in 2014. - All lines and sheets in average to good condition. - Dodger: s/s frame is good but canvas is at the end of its life, of course you can still use, but budget to replace. - Bimini: s/s frame good but canvas is below average, better than dodger but again budget to replace. - The side decks have had the teak removed and 60% of the area has been restored, photo indicates. Almost all of the teak is off the boat now including in the cockpit. Some small side deck refurbishment is still required, plus both side deck and cockpit require painting and non slip. Cabin top never had teak on so retains the manufacturers excellent non slip. |
