Ballast is internal to the keel, no keel bolts or seal. The rudder is supported by a skeg which is integral with the hull. Hull is solid fiberglass hand-laid up with substantial structural reinforcement. Hull to deck joinery is solid fiberglass reinforced with resin and stainless-steel fasteners.
