Com-Pac-19 built in 1988 as hull number 470. Amazing day sailor or pocket cruiser. Great combination of easily-tailorable AND seaworthyness. Com-Pacs are arguably the best built boats in this class. Recently restored in 2021-22. Solid fiber glass, firm bilges and dry boat: no wood core laminations. throughout deck. Teak interior. Feels like a bigger boat, sails w/ relatively little heeling. 800 lb concrete fixed keel, yet draft is only 2 ft. New standing and running rigging (halyards and sheets). New main and genoa in 2022 including new Selden 50s roller furler. Added cruising 130 genoa (North Sails, new 2022, in very good shape) on furler. Mainsail sheeted to mid-boom full beam Harken traveler. Vang and Cunningham added for improved sail shape control. Halyards led aft.
Like new ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 outboard motor (approximately 2 hours total). On new motor mount. Pushes the boat along wonderfully!!
New bottom and side hull paint. Paint is beautiful, Bronze portholes. New electrical. Clipper Marine Instruments to indicate depth, speed, and wind speed/direction. Rudder Craft foiled rudder blade, tiller assembly and mast crutch. All in 2022
Trailer overhauled- new wiring, lights, bunks, and guides, winch, and spare tire. Added V guides to help center keel onto trailer. A-frame and winch style mast raising/lowering system eliminates need for heavy lifting and provides complete safe control of mast when raising and lowering the mast. Boat weighs 2000 lb. You will not find a nicer Com-Pac 19. Selling because owner upsized.
Boat is Dirty, need a new owner. cleans up well! |
