Description: |
If you're looking for a quality built, beautifully maintained, exceptionally equipped, fast racer/cruiser, this is a boat to put on your short list. The C&C 29-2 is a balanced, close winded yacht that performs well in all conditions. She is fast and nimble and handles rough conditions like a much larger boat. Her hull is easily driven so you won't have to start the engine when the winds are light. She is a true sailors yacht for those buyers who appreciate great performance and a beautiful.
The interior of the C&C 29-2 is tastefully accented with teak throughout. There is a structural fiberglass grid system which is integrated into the interior to uniformly distribute the rig and working loads. The chainplates are attached to this system with strong, well engineered chainplates. There are many subtle construction details that make this boat a standout. The hull is solid hand laid fiberglass with an end grained balsa cored deck for weight savings and strength. The core does not extend to the hull to deck flange. This detail will prevent core saturation where the fasteners that are used to secure the stanchions and toe rail go through the deck. The aluminum toe rails add additional strength and are a convenient place to attach snatch blocks and other hardware. The mast is an custom designed aerodynamically shaped section that C&C developed specifically for this boat.
There are 12 and 120 volt electric panels to handle your personal electric/electronic gadgets.
This boat has been constantly upgraded by a knowledge owner for the past 15 years. If you enjoy PHRF racing, and comfortable cruising, you probably won't find a better set up C&C 29-2 on the market. The extensive sail inventory.
