The unique Freedom 30 Self-stayed Carbon Fiber Mast Eliminates Shrouds, and Helps Shape Sails For Optimum Performance
With all lines led aft to the comfortable cockpit, and a self-tacking jib, sailing has never been more enjoyable. The large, full-battened main performs well under a variety of winds, and the Yanmar 2GM20FV diesel hums nicely as it sips fuel underway.
This beautiful boat is easy to sail, with a self-tending jib and lines lead aft to the cockpit. Freedom 30 Yachts were built in Rhode Island by Tillotson-Pearson to exacting standards, designed for sailors by sailors.
Below decks, the interior is in excellent shape. Original, rich, well-maintained wood throughout is accompanied by thick, sturdy, upholstered cushions and bedding. The galley stove is like-new, with a brand new propane supply and regulator sytem installed in 2024.
The main cabin is spacious, and will sleep two comfortably on the port and starboard bench seats. Standing headroom of 6 feet is unimpeded by a compression post or bulkhead in the middle of the floor plan.
