Minerva's Dream has always been a freshwater boat and calls Lake Michigan home! This Sun Odyssey 37 has been meticulously taken care of the last 5 years. She has spent the last 5 years on the water in Chicago during the summer, and lives at Crowley's Yacht Yard during the winter.
Owners Meaning of the Boat Name:
When I purchased the boat, I wanted to have a nod to my father who loved sailboats.
At the age of one, my father nicknamed me "Minerva" and to this day, I'm still called Min. Living along Lake Michigan for the last 30 years and seeing sailboats only from land, I had always dreamed of having my own sailboat. Hence the name "Minerva's Dream".
Minerva's Dream is a special boat and I have enjoyed and cared for her the last five seasons. I now pass her on to someone who will love and enjoy her as much as I did. |
