Description: |
Very clean Bristol 32 that has a factory installed cutter rig and bow sprit. Decks and hull are solid with no soft spots. Topsides and deck are in ex.cond and show nicely. Edson wheel steering really adds room to the cockpit. Universal 5424 diesel engine that was inspected and maintained by boatyard. Runs solid and burns very little oil. Projects that need completion are to install new LED lights (cabin/exterior) and panel. Head was removed to be replaced with new unit. Gorgeous wood that is being sanded and varnished prior to sale. Boat is located on Lk. Champlain. 90% complete, but daysails and runs beautifully now! Yard maintained winterization. Sail inventory to be updated soon, but includes spinnaker, storm jib, 150 and 135 %. Main sail in good cond. too. Photos to be uploaded soon. |
Equipment: |
The hull and deck were the main reason we purchased her. All through-hulls have been upgraded to modern standards and the engine has been maintained by a boatyard. The interior is also very clean with beautiful woodwork throughout. Items needing completion are a new head that needs to be installed and new wiring for the mast. We're also installing a new panel with LED's in the cabin and nav lights too. As is, the boat runs and sails beautifully, albeit, only legal in the daylight. The plan is to complete these items soon. New V berth and settee cushions in navy blue are also included, but not pictured. There's a new Garmin GNX 20 that reads many functions such as wind direction, speed, and depth. It is currently newly wired with a brand new depth gauge. All exterior woodwork is also beautiful and being sanded and varnished and rebedding the hardware where necessary. Chain plates are solid and the bige always stays dry. There is a drain plug in the bottom of the keel that makes winterizing much easier. The Edson wheel steering has been inspected and the boat has an extra tiller if needed too.The B32 resembles a Hinckley Pilot and gets lots of compliments. We'll update the listing soon as we're going through the extensive sail inventory and photos |
