39' Corbin Corbin 39

Blue Moon is a 1980 Corbin 39 which was refitted for a cricumnavigation in the last 3 years. Please refer to the equipment list to see what was done. We cruised her up and down the east coast for two years. It was a perfect shakedown cruise which proved all upgrades to work perfectly. Unfortunately we are not able to fulfill our dream of a circumnavigation. The boat is for sale basically for the amount we invested in the last three years. On Deck:

New Rig 2022. New Selden in mast furling rig with boom, rod kicker, new furling units for jib and staysail, new stays and shrouds, running rigging and new chain plates.

New set of sails from Mack Sails 2022. In mas furling main, staysail and 135 jib/genoa.

Two new Lewmar 40 winches for mast 2022.

New Lofrans Tigress Windlass with Rockna 33 anchor 2022. New bow roller assembly for over sized anchor 2022. 3/8th chain 250 connected with Mantus swivel.

New Highfield 290 with double aluminum bottom, bow storage and bow step 2022.

Tohatsu 4-stroke outboard motor 15 HO fuel injected 2021.

Custom 3 aluminum davits with 6 to 1 tackle to hoist dinghy with motor 2023. Also platform made for additional solar panels on top of davits. Will fit 2x 300 watt panels.

Two SS mushroom vents installed in rear cabin 2022.

Custom hard top with full enclosure and 600 watt of solar panels mounted 2022.

Replaced top life line with 1 SS rail for full length of boat 2021.

10 new Lewmar off shore hatches to replace old hatches 2022.

Replaced 8 portholes with new laser cut replacements 2022.

Electric-electronics:

Re-wired the boat for use of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries for house.

Installed two new Battleborne 270 amp hour batteries for house 2022.

Installed two new 120 amp hour AGM batteries for start and windlass 2022.

Installed 2x200 watt and 2x100 watt solar panels on hard top 2022.

Installed 2xVictron Smartsolar 100/20 for 200 watt panels and 2x Victron Smartsolar 75/15 for 100 watt panels. Each panel has its own mppt charger with blue tooth access 2022.

Main Victron shunt with bluetooth 2022. Batteries can be monitored via bluetooth or Victron Smart Battery monitor.

New Victron Multiplus-II 12 volt 3000 watt inverter charger 2022.

All batteries can be quick disconnected via switches 2022.

Changed shore power to new smart plug with new cable 2021.

Standard Horizon Matrix VHF radio with wireless RAM mike 2022.

SI-TEX active AIS with international AIS number 2023.

B&G 12 Zeus III chart plotter at helm 2023.

Two B&G monitors at Nav Station 2023.

CPT autonomous auto pilot for boats up to 50000 pounds 2023.

Tri data depth sounder with speed and temperature 2023.

B&G wind instruments on top of mast wired 2022.

Everything electronic is connected via NMEA 2000 and displayed on chart plotter and monitors 2023.

Boat is equipped with all LED lighting.

Refrigeration and freezer are two standalone Dometic units which work with 12 volt DC or 120 volt AC 2021.

Engine:

Yanmar 4JH3-TE 72 HP turbocharged diesel engine with 1605 hours.

Extensive upgrades were done to the engine. There are major spare parts aboard: extra turbo charger, extra starter assembly, extra custom SS exhaust, extra raw water pump. Also impellers, oil filters, diesel filters and other maintenance parts.

Engine was upgraded with serpentine belt 2023.

Engine is connected to hot water heater.

Steering:

New steering Cables and conduits 2023.

Pedestal was rebuilt with kit from Edson 2023.
