Size
The V15 has a length of 15' 4", a beam of 5' 6", and a draft of 3' 5". It displaces 200 lb (91 kg). With the daggerboard extended, it has a draft of 3.42 ft (1.04 m), which allows it to be beached or transported on a trailer or car roof rack.
Rig
The V15 has a fractional sloop rig, a raked stem, a vertical transom, and a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller. It also has an asymmetrical spinnaker and the option for a trapeze.
Sailing
The V15 is designed for a crew of two, ideally weighing between 270 lb and 340 lb. Both crew members hike off the boat to keep it flat. The V15 can be rigged in 510 minutes and hand-launched off a dolly.
