Description:
Final price reduction! Motivated to sell to a good home. Perfect for another young family or couple or solo adventurer to sail away on their dream. She is moored in Kittery, the southern most town in Maine, chomping at the bit for some more voyaging. Unfortunately I don't have the time for her going forward. Dream accomplished. Now is the time for a new owner. Avatrice is a lovely classic plastic ocean voyaging design. She traveled to and from the Bahamas last winter(22-23) and is ready for another season of voyaging. Great boat for family cruising, or solo, if that is your thing. 55 years of cruising and she is just getting warmed up. Current price is reflective of the desire to see a good home for this amazing boat.

Things that don't work or not that well:

-Be on the look out for new/used mainsail. This one has thousands of more miles if you baby it.
-New/used mizzen needed, but not really necessary for cruising.
-Refrigerator not functioning, but has a brand new motor in a box that should fix it.
-Radar functions intermittently.
-Ready for a short haul at least to clean up the bottom and repaint but that could wait for south of Hatteras.
-Pealing paint in cockpit. Teak ready for freshening.

None of this stuff should keep you from cruising away

She will be at her winter berth and this deal expired
