30' Alberg 30

Crazy Horse is a 1972 Alberg 30 (Hull #549). She has been a great boat to me over the course of my ownership. The boat has been kept in freshwater the vast majority of its life, and under my ownership was primarily kept in Havre De Grace MD. Despite her flaws, Crazy horse has been a joy to sail and live aboard, serving as my dorm for my first year at University of Delaware. She sails well in heavy conditions, and has a cosy cabin full of teak and in good condition for her age.

Cosmetically, she is a 6/10. The brightwork needs redone, and there is some crazing on the hull. There is some bulkhead damage due to water intrusion, as well as a couple soft spots on deck. Mechanically, the boat is in good condition. She was re-powered in the mid 90s with a low hours Universal M4-30 diesel engine, which runs well. If you are looking for a sailable project boat with good bones, Crazy Horse might be the boat for you! The boat is currently out of the water at Anglers Marina in Lewes DE.
