Ready to tow, launch and sail away. The MacGregor 26M features 6 foot headroom, an enclosed head, sleeps 6 in two doubles and two singles, Motors at 15mph and sails for fuel-free operation. It has a single burner alcohol stove and sink with pressurized water. The MacGregor uses water ballast to keep it stable under sail, but when emptied it is light enough to easily tow at 3,080 lbs.
This MacGregor 26M is outfitted with tons of extras including a Hummingbird 597ci Multi-function GPS/Sonar fish-finder and depth sounder, custom galley and storage cabinets that are easily removed to revert back to long bench seats/berths, a custom swim platform and boarding ladder that provides a place to stand outboard of the engine making boarding much easier, custom bug screens for the 2 hatches, roller furling Jib, Fenders and boat hook with stern mounted storage racks, stern anchor mount, the stern rail seat option, safety gear, 50hp Honda outboard, anchor with ground tackle, Bimini, pressurized water and a lot more. There are two head options included, a chemical toilet (installed, used 1 time and clean) and the reliance removable dry toilet it came with. The included trailer has bearing buddies to make greasing the wheel bearings easy, surge brakes and spare tire.
Two USCG marine fire extinguishers, USCG Approved LED flares and signaling device were added in 2021 and the dagger board pendent line and rudder control lines were also replaced. Last season the engine spark plugs were replaced as well as the water pump and it has fresh oil. |
