Description: |
Precision 16.5 Sketa asking $6,500 OBO Built by Floridas Precision Boat Works in the 1990s, Sketa has been well-loved and sailed each summer on Lake Nockamixon, PA, where there are numerous fiberglass Precision sailboats of varying designs. Sketa has been hauled and covered every October and has wintered either in my yard, later at a designated winter area at the lake, and more recently at the Marine Yard in Quakertown, PA. Her bottom has been prepped and freshly painted each Spring. The Precision 16.5 can be sailed single handed, or ideally with a crew of 1 or 2. She is exceptionally fast and maneuverable. Sketa has participated in three annual Down the Lake and Back Nockamixon Yacht Club races with the entire fleet, and finished in First Place each time. |
Equipment: |
Sketa has 1 set of crisp sails and a full backup set. 2 mainsails and 2 jibs and a Genoa, and is powered by a Honda 4 stroke engine. The sale will also include a trailer, (seen in photo) seat cushions, bumpers, life vests and paddles. |
