Molly Rose, a Canadian registered vessel, is a 1981 Cooper 416 Pilothouse Cutter, designed by Stan Huntingford and built in Port Coquitlam BC by Cooper Yachts, a well regarded BC yacht builder. She is 41.5 ft. long, and boasts a generous 14 ft. beam, 7.5 ft. draft, fin keel and skeg hung rudder. Her 8 Diamond Sea Glaze windows let in a tremendous amount of light even in rainy PNW and she is well ventilated by 6 opening ports and 4 hatches. Her layout consists of aft private double cabin, quarter berth, U shaped galley, chart table, inside steering station, U shaped settee and table, long settee (extra berth if needed), head with separate step in shower and forward V berth. As well she boasts abundant storage lockers, drawers and cupboards. She was built when teak was readily available, and has a mix of warm satin and glossy joinery, including teak and holly flooring in excellent condition. Her upholstery was re-done just prior to my 2017 purchase, and is in very good condition. VESSEL IS LOCATED WITHIN 4 HOURS OF U.S. PORT OF ENTRY |
