Are you ready to live your dream and looking for a comfortable pocket offshore cruiser at an affordable price? Wendelin is one of those good ole boats. A proven design with a pedigree that includes sailing to New Zealand, Hawaii and Mexico (three separate trips which all departed from the Pacific Northwest). Weve owned Wendelin since July 2000 . almost 25 years. In 2009-10 we completed a refit on Wendelin before sailing north around the northern tip of Vancouver Island, south to Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and up the Sea of Cortez to Guaymas. Shes been in Mexico ever since. We have had the incredible pleasure of cruising her for about three to four months every winter since (except during Covid). She is currently stored on-the-hard in a privately owned marina in San Blas Mexico (just north of Puerto Vallarta, 80 or so NM along the Riviera Nayarit, past Sayulita, Rincon de Guaybitos etc.)
Wendelin will be available for viewing after Jan 18th.
Wendelin is a well-equipped, solid well-found vessel. That being said, she is in need of a cosmetic uplift and, consequently, she is a project boat, which is reflected in the asking price. Located in San Blas Nayarit Mexico,
Outside United States.

This is classic sailing. Welcome aboard Polaris, a 1994 Com-Pac 35 Cutter. Designed by Charlie Morgan, this vessel combines amazing comfort & stability with surprising sailing performance.
Stepping aboard, you are greeted by decks that will make a moisture meter go silent as the decks and hull are solid fiberglass with no core. The deck is in immaculate condition with non-skid that looks factory new. Going forward, all standing rigging is run to the hull with external chainplates. All sail handling including halyards & outhauls are led aft to the cockpit.
The cockpit is small enough to be secure in the roughest of weather, but comfortable enough to provide ample seating underway. Navigation at the helm features a new Raymarine Chart Plotter C125 plus a variety of other new instrumentation.
The stern is a Euro Transom with a stairs leading down to the water. A davit system will allow for a dingy, & solar panels keep the batteries charged.
In addition to a full suit of sails, Polaris is powered by a Westerbeak 30b with 1855 hrs. Unique in that it has the ability to have a fresh water flush of all its systems, so that salt water can be removed from the hoses completely. Access to the engine for maintenance is either through each cockpit storage hatch or just behind the ladderway. You will be amazed at how well this reliable engine has been maintained. Avaition type maintence records for 25 years document every improvement and service made to this vessel.
Going below you will find yourself in a main cabin that is a testament to the craftsmanship of these vessels.
Polaris is a boat full of stories from her present owner who is looking forward to those stories continuing under her new captain. This is not flashy sailing. This is solid cruising sailing designed by a man who knew the requirements of long-distance journeys. Welcome aboard.

Blind Squirrel is a 1984 Nelson Marek designed Santana 3030 Grand Prix. She has been raced for last 7 years in San Diego and is fully optimized. Her racing accomplishments are consistent and will be listed below.
Her hull shape, sail design, and balance are ideally suited for SoCal conditions, and her ORC rating will suit her well for upcoming racing. Upwind, she will outpoint most boats in her class, and downwind she runs exceptionally well. She is lightweight and well balanced, helping her to outsail her PHRF/ORC rating in light/medium air. Because of this tenderness, she does struggle in the 18 plus days. She is particularly fast in less than 9.
Her hull shape trades off big wave speed for flat water performance.
The cockpit is massive for a 30′ boat, and fantastic for race teams and cruising with friends. She resembles the design of newer boats with a wide footwell and narrow seating on the deck edges. This allows for excellent visibility and control. You can easily fit 8 people comfortably for day sailing, all in the cockpit. This open cockpit design does not compromise on optimal comfort and control while sailing. Her cockpit floor is finished in custom raptor deck.
The toe rail is formed with a ramp to allow crew to have their legs maintain full circulation while hiking. The ramp is conveniently located where weight should be, making weight management for/aft more straightforward. She is particular about weight forward in light air.
Her interior is wide and comfortable with 2 double sized settes with moveable backrests to act as lee boards offshore. Aft, 2 more wide doubles are port and starboard and useful for stacking weight offshore in a breeze.

Price just reduced a $150k!
Now only $115k Owner says SELL!!
His New Carbon/Kevlar Catamaran has been delivered. Even tho he has spent a ton on Holani II, its time...
"Hiolani II" has been a one owner boat since her original construction. Warren Seaman and Alfred Kumalae (the "S" and "K" in CSK catamarans) were involved in the building of this high quality boat. The family has maintained the boat in excellent condition over the years. Hiolani was built for performance in that era of catamarans. She has Asymmetrical hulls for speed. Her rigging was brought to a very high standard due to the owners owned a sail loft and they had a rigger in the family which kept her up to racing standards but used Hiolani sparingly over the many years of ownership. Hiolani was launched in 1988 and was always kept at the California Yacht club in Marina Del Rey. Hiolani is a very special boat and the owners spared no expense keeping her up. I purchased Hiolani in August 2017 and I have been updating her ever since. She comes with an unbelievable set of records/plans and receipts! Over $60k was spent on her a few years before I purchased her, and I less than 3 years ago spent over $100k. Yes you read that correctly! Located in Cabrillo way Marina,
California.

Sheer Will is a lovely and well preserved example of one of Robert Perrys bluewater masterpieces. A freshwater boat since her christening, she is an ideal platform for making her your own go anywhere sailing yacht.
Designed by the great Robert Perry, and built at what was arguably the greatest of Taiwan shipyards Ta Shing the Baba 35 manages to be as pretty as she is purposeful, a sailboat that will safely take her owners to any harbor in the world and turn every head once she gets there.
With her heavy displacement, full keel, canoe stern and well protected cockpit, she makes no secret of her bluewater ambitions, and this ethos continues below, with accommodations that lend themselves well to the rigors of big-water cruising: comfortable and secure berths, a practical galley, and cavernous storage throughout.
Sheer Will is a unique example in that she has never seen saltwater. She is the perfect yacht for the sailor looking for proven build quality, a lovely sheer, and a future of endless possibilities. She is currently available for inspection in her slip on Lake Travis in Austin, Texas.

Pearson 35, perhaps the best boat for Florida and the Bahamas. This fully equipped live aboard is ready to go! As a matter of fact I did, last year to George Town (and won both races in the Regatta) after a major refit, which included new Maxwell windlass and ground tackle, new Frigaboat refrigeration and new hot water tank with in-cockpit shower. She has raw water wash-down in cockpit and bow, Yanmar 3GM and fresh sails. 2-Solar panels and 4 Golf cart batteries with AC inverter provide plenty of power. Custom stern swim ladder, thru bolted hand rails, Douglas fir plank sole, hand made Honduras mahogany fold-up table and cabin doors! Too much to list. Located in Placida,

This boat is ideal for anyone looking for a high latitudes expedition cruiser, charter vessel, or just an all around great cruiser / liveaboard. The huge interior and multiple cabins are great if you have kids, guests, or like to have plenty of space. The boat is enormous inside with a huge aft cabin, king sized berth and a full size bathtub in the aft head! The pilot house/deck salon design makes for an amazingly light and spacious interior with great visibility. The strength and stability of this design are remarkable; this is the most comfortable boat I have ever sailed offshore. She has been a great home for us over the past few years but our plans are changing and we are trying to see if we can find someone who can truly utilize this boat to its full potential.
Peregrine was professionally built in Halifax Canada by Intertech Marine in 2001. The yard not only built the hull but also finished out the interior and installed all equipment - this is not a home built boat. The boat was equipped with top end gear - selden spars and furlex furlers. Big anderson self tailing winches, harken batcar system, and so on. No expense was spared during the build.
We bought the boat in 2019 and given that it had been sitting for quite a while and needed a lot of attention, we undertook an extensive multi year refit. Peregrine has been a great boat for us. We have been living aboard as a family of 4 and have been sailing up and down the east coast of the US. The boat is extremely comfortable offshore and a great platform for living and cruising.

A clean well taken care of C&C Landfall 35 that has been extensively refit and cared for.
This is C&C Yachts' cruising oriented model but still sails like the brand is noted for. It includes a "couples" layout with its pullman style quarter berth and a forward position settee. It has a 4'11" draft making it well suited for cruising the thin waters of the Chesapeake, Bahamas and Florida's west coast. It also has the fully dependable and preferred Yanmar diesel engine with long range fuel capacity.
Engine had brand new exhaust manifold, raw water pump, freshwater cooling pump, hoses, and thermostat housing replaced 8/2023.
The mast was pulled by Hold Fast Rigging and the Nitronic 50 rod rigging shrouds were sent to Florida Rigging and Hydraulics where they were reheaded 11/2023. The forestay and backstay were replaced with 9/32" 1x19 SS Wire to accommodate a future roller furler installation. Rig was fully inspected, VHF antennae and coax cable replaced. Located in Palmetto,
Florida.

Charming pocket cruiser cutter designed and built by Aborn Smith in Stonington, Connecticut around 1981. Quality construction and beautiful design. Powerful 14HP Universal freshwater cooled diesel engine completely rebuilt in 2017. She is constructed of re-enforced fiberglass. Decks and cabin top have molded in anti-skid surfaces. She is handsomely trimmed with teak coamings, toe-rails and rub-rails. The teak bowsprit, hatches and handrails are richly accented by bronze winches and hardware. Sleeps 4 (crowded). S/S sink with foot pump faucet and built in icebox. Main cabin has two full berths with comfortable foam cushions. The main cabin, richly finished with teak hull lining and teak faced shelves, teak handrails, bronze opening ports, and a teak and holly sole. The forward cabin is also finished with teak hull lining and a comfortable 4" foam cushioned v-berth, complete with porta-potty and privacy door, includes teak faced shelves, rope locker with louvered door, two bronze opening ports and teak veneered bulkheads are comfortable and attractive.
She sails easy and handles rough seas well. She is quick to rig and small enough for one person to handle with ease. She makes for the perfect beginner boat for new sailors or reliable cruiser for experienced. She has a shallow draft and rugged keel. She is very seaworthy as are most full keel boats and she is ballasted with lead (not steel).
The motor had zero hours, after a complete rebuild, when I purchased it and I can conservatively say it has less than 300 hours. It was fully rebuilt in 2017, not used until 2019 and only sailed close to home. Starts easy, runs smoothly and has power to spare. Alternator mount was modified per recall notice. Heat exchanger recently cleaned of deposits. Motor aligned to shaft.
Trailer included. Located in Lyme,
Connecticut.

Beautiful Hinterholler Nonsuch 26 Classic sailboat is for sale. She's a 1982-manufactured boat with fantastic teak work inside. Unlike the larger Nonsuch boats, the Nonsuch 26 is fully fiberglass, not made of cored hull.
"Inner Peace," the name of the Nonsuch 26 Classic, comes with a 27 HP Westerbeke engine that was rebuilt in 2004. Since then, the engine has clocked less than 600 hours and is in great shape. The boat is winterized every year and is currently at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City, New Jersey, right across from New York City. I've been sailing the boat regularly this entire season, but I'm moving to a slightly bigger Nonsuch, and hence, I've put this boat up for sale.
Recent teak work, a new electric head installation, bottom painting, and a few other upgrades worth $19,000 were made last year. The sail has a few patches but may last for another season. The dodger is in good shape, but the Bimini may need some stitching. However, the boat comes fully equipped, including a 2-foot swim platform, ladder, and a brand new bow pulpit which I bought for $1,500 from Clacko Marine and is still uninstalled and available with the boat. The boat is paid for winter storage at Liberty Landing Marina in Jersey City.
I replaced the rudder with another Nonsuch 26 rudder recently, and there is no other damage to the hull or keel. The cushions are in great shape from the previous owner, and the boat has autopilot and radar although I didn't use them last season. She sails great, despite the large wakes and boat traffic in the New York City area.
The boat is winterized but still on the water at Liberty Landing Marina. I'm happy to show the boat over the weekends by appointment. Located in New York City,
New York.

The Tartan-34C is a traditional Sparkman Stephens designed in 1969. Stepping aboard one notices wide decks and a generous cockpit that drains well. The design is a keel centerboard which allows the boat to perform well to windward and yet still capable of shallower harbors frequently encountered when cruising. The companionway is designed for off-shore sailing such that up to three hatch boards can be set to prevent any boarding wave from going into the cabin.
Looking below you will find a well-ventilated quarter berth to port, just aft of a small navigation table with chart drawer underneath. An 18" opening port provides excellent air and light. Immediately to starboard is an L-shaped galley that has a 10" deep sink. The stove and oven is gimbaled with a microwave oven stored on top. The "icebox" is accessible from the galley counter as well as from the cockpit hatch.
In the main cabin, there is a generous dinette to port that utilizes one of the seat-back cushions to create a large double berth. A bulkhead-mounted drop-down table with an extension leaf provides for comfortable seating for five. Under the dinette is a 25-gallon fuel tank and dual and batteries.
The engine is located amidships, along the centerline, repowered with a BETA. Then the easily removed engine cover provides nearly all around engine access.
To port is a cozy pilot berth that has a padded bunk board that can be positioned to serve as either a back rest or lee board. Underneath is a 35-gallon water tank that has two access / inspection ports to facilitate cleaning (there a small leak that needs repaired)
Forward of the mast, and to port is a double entry head with a standard WC and vanity sink. With closets and drawer stowage are to Starboard. The spacious v-berth can accommodate 2 people. There is also a hatch providing light and ventilation.
The center board cable is rusty and needs service or replacement. Located in St Augustine,
Florida.

Sail away ready!! You need to do some very minor maintenance work (If I don't get to it first). This is not a lemon, its ready and family safe!!
I should also mention (I forgot) that all my cushions are made with "Marine Grade" foam, blue color vs the cheaper brown production boat foam. It is 4 times more expensive as its mildew proof. All foam cushions sealed with plastic covering to protect from spills and sunbrella water resistant covering, all S/S staples used where wood backing is used, high grade vinyl heavy duty zippers and high grade heavy duty Velcro. This adds thousands in value!
"New head" & plumbing added last year. Sewage tank in new condition

This classic Ted Brewer bluewater boat is well equipped and ready for offshore cruising anywhere in the world. This solid vessel has been regularly maintained, with many recent upgrades. The interior is spacious with standing head room throughout (6'2), and boasts many large windows to let in plenty of natural light, both rare features in a boat of this vintage. The cockpit offers plenty of seating for evening sundowners, while at sea it provides protection during spirited sails. With a hull speed of 6 knots, she is both fast and stout, fun to sail yet safe. Canadian-built, the cutter-rigged Cabot 36 is consistently on lists of the best blue-water boats. She was made for the North Atlantic, but is perfectly at home in its current Caribbean location of sunny St. Martin in the French West Indies.
She has a large private double V-berth cabin with plenty of cupboards for storage, enclosed side shelves and a hanging locker. Separate entrance to the head, which is also accessible from the main salon. The head is equipped with a manual Jabsco toilet with Y valve, sink, shower, and hot and cold pressure water.
The main salon has a U-shaped dinette to port with a large teak table that drops to form a comfortable double berth. The six-foot settee to starboard serves as an ideal single pilot berth for overnight passages.
At the bottom of the companionway there is U-shaped galley to port with a sink with hot and cold pressure water, and sea water and freshwater foot pumps. This boat holds more fuel and water than most midsize cruisers (455 liters/120 gal). The galley also has a Force 10 three-burner stove with oven, and an Isotherm fridge with ice-making capabilities and secondary cool box.
Great access to the newly reconditioned (2024) Yanmar 4JH2E engine. Ultra-suede cushions in good condition. All windows and port lights have been recently replaced.
All cabin lights LED.
April 2022 survey available upon request.
With only 49 of these boats ever produced, this highly coveted unicorn of a cruiser could be yours. Come live the Caribbean dream. Located in St Martin French West Indies,
Outside United States.

For Sale - Vegas - 2005 Potter 19 Blue Water Lay Up Hull with One Piece $ 1000.00 Ruddercraft Blue Water Rudder
This boat has been modified for Safe Ocean Coastal and Island Cruising with safety and contingency as job # one!!
It is truly a Hot Rod Potter 19.
Everything is set up to be controlled from the cockpit. I am not a solo sailing advocate myself, but this is a perfect single handed configuration without needing to leave the cockpit to go forward or below to operate sails, switches or electronics.
Electrical Wiring Mod:
Completely Rewired, where the distribution and buss components are mounted in 2 watertight pelican cases on the interior starbord cabin/ cockpit bulkhead.
There is a water tight marine glove box on the cockpit side of the bulkhead that houses the Main Power disconect, voltmeter and switch panel. So all electrics are controlled from the cockpit!
When I first bought the boat I complete gutted all wiring for this configuration and used all wire sizes to standard code. Example: # 6 wire for all battery 12 dc run to busses. Safe wiring and code compliance means a fire on the water will not occur due to wires overheating! The factory wiring and component locations on the Potters are hidden.
All new wiring is run on the starbord side of the cabin and exposed in plain sight affix to the cabin wall.. Not run under cabinets impossible to access with keel up on the trailer as was the factory install.
There is a new 30,000 lumin horizontal bar bow light that makes it like daylight when docking the boat at night
Fuel System Components:
To eliminate a gas can on the floor of the cockpit deck as a fire safety and tripping hazzard, I purchased a 5 gallon Alum race car fuel tank and perminatly afixted it to the foredeck. Giving a 5 hp Outboard a 10 hr plus motoring range with reserve.
There is a An-6 3/8" anodized alum fuel shut off valve mounted on the tank. The fuel is run to the stern via a 3/8" fuel line also using AN-6 anodized connectors. The fuel in is protected by SS Located in Las Vegas,
Nevada.

** PRICE REDUCED **
Have you dreamed of owning a classic bluewater vessel, a boat that has rounded Cape Horn and anchored in Patagonia's williwaws? One with a gimbaled oil lamp that shines onto the teak bulkhead while the Fleming stainless wind vane steers you silently through the night? A boat whose Panama Canal and Suez Canal certificates hang framed on the bulkhead?
Ave Del Mar is a William Garden designed 1967 Rawson 30, built as a sloop and converted years ago to a cutter rig. Her rich wood interior, hand-made iroko-and-meranti cabin sole, and boundless, useful storage are nothing like the sterile Ikea-like interiors of todays production boats.
Her 230 watts of solar is more than enough to charge her three deep-cycle batteries (new last year) and the Xantrex battery monitor helps keep an eye on your reserves. She has no refrigerator, which means your power demands are minimal. Keep the lights and the VHF on and crank some tunes while you sail it's hard to run out of juice on this boat. On cloudy days, while your neighbors in the anchorage are running generators to keep their cheddar cheese cold, you'll be free as a bird. Chasing gasoline to feed the generator to fuel the batteries to run the compressor is someone else's game.
Theres no power usage to get water and no pressurized water system to spring leaks and no water pump to run and run and deplete your electric bank. Her galley glows with warmth and functionality, from the mahogany butcher block countertop to the brass sink and three-burner stove. Two 20-pound propane tanks mean you have months of cooking fuel on hand, and always a tank in reserve.
She is powered by a Kubota V-1305 four cylinder diesel after she was repowered in 2021 (used) and consumes a meager .6 gallons per hour while running at cruising speed. She has two 35-gallon black iron fuel tanks that need to be replaced.
All of her lighting has been converted to energy-efficient LED. There are USB power outlets belowdecks and in the cockpit. Located in West Palm,
Florida.

Full keel, full displacement, turn key bluewater cruiser that is ready to cross oceans, enjoy the local islands or have the most comfortable live aboard sailboat. Originally a Southern California boat that has completed a Pacific loop and spent many years plying the waters between Washington and Alaska.
Only 28 of the 45s were built due to Down East Yachts founder and legendary designer Bob Poole passing just five years after starting the company. This boat is hull number 7 and one of only a few cutters built. The boat was revered as one of the finest bluewater cruisers when introduced in 1977 with impeccable character and build quality from bow to stern.
This vessel has never been neglected and is in ready-to-sail shape on day one. Insurance survey completed Nov 2023 and is available to review.
I purchased the vessel in 2017 in Washington before sailing it back to Los Angeles. Among countless trips to Catalina, Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands, other recent voyages include a 2020 trip to Crescent City, CA and back to Los Angeles. Spent 2 days in Small Craft to Gale weather from Newport, OR to San Francisco and always felt safe while underway.
The pedigree of Down East Yachts is unmatched as they were designed as comfortable, stable voyaging sailboats built with the highest quality materials. The hull is quite literally bullet proof with the thinnest fiberglass at the coaming rail being over 1.25 thick. Firm decks all around with no signs of water intrusion during the latest insurance survey (2023). The fully enclosed cockpit makes foul weather sailing very comfortable. New isinglass installed in 2020 so there is great visibility all around.
The boat is a center cockpit, cutter rigged vessel with a high cut yankee jib giving the owner lots of sail plan options while underway. Sails comfortably in 7 knots of wind and will regularly cruise between 6.5 and 8 knots in 10 knots. Motorsails at 7 knots in flat water at only 1,700rpms, using less than 1 gallon per hour. The vessel has a well maintained Perkins 4-236 engine which has Located in Marina del Rey,

Seller is motivated, the boat is in Good condition, and ready to sail. The Flicka 20 is a Pocket Cruiser for Solo Sailor or a couple. The Boat is very clean, with no "boat smell" I recently completed a 400 mile cruise along the west coast of Florida, and a 600 mile cruise to Florida Keys. The boat is well maintained and outfitted for cruising. Think of it as an RV van on the water, perfect for multi day adventures where comfort is not sacrificed for ease of sailing. Among pilothouse sailboats, the Nauticat 37 is considered one of the best designs with an attractive profile and roomy interior while offering respectable sailing performance. Solidly built in Finland in 2003 by Nauticat Shipyard (previously Siltala Yachts) in high-quality European workmanship reputed to be comparable to Halberg Rassy in build-quality and joinery. Three Rivers is a comfortable blue water sailboat ideal for extended cruises or live-aboard. Her large pilothouse with a raised saloon provides a bright living space with excellent all-around visibility, also perfect for keeping watches and navigating in the open seas in safety and comfort. Featuring a large aft-stateroom, a V-berth, and two heads, a saloon and galley, the NC37 has comparable living space as many 40 footers. She has been diligently maintained and is in very good condition, with many recent upgrades and refurbishments.
The boat is currently lying in the Atlantic side of Panama at Shelter Bay Marina, an excellent resort-grade full-service marina near the entrance of the Canal. I have owned 3Rivers for three years and have enjoyed this excellent cruising area. However, my plans have changed and 3Rivers is in turn-key condition for a new owner to enjoy the beautiful cruising grounds of the Caribbean.

The 365 was voted cruising boat of the year 3yrs in a row. Ok, things have changed since then but these are still excellent cruising boats. They're known for their separate shower and head layout. Same boat as SAILING UMA EXCEPT THEIRS IS A SLOOP.
This one was professionally painted several years and still looks like a boat you can be proud of. The teak toe rail has been replaced with synthetic wood. This is usually poorly done however this replacement looks great.
The masts are going up within the next week. The running rig will be complete and ready to sail for new buyer. The Westerbeke Diesel runs well. THE MESS IN THE MAIN SALON IS MOSTLY SAILS AND BOAT STUFF WITH SOME JUNK. Located in port St Lucie,
Florida.

Price Drop. This 1974 Catalac 9m might be rough around the edges, but shes got a lot of life left in her. With standing headroom throughout (Im 62), a full galley, a king-sized bed and the largest cockpit youll ever find on a boat under 30 feet, youll be amazed by her accommodations. This catamaran might not be fast, but shes built for comfort and safety. Made in England, this boat was made to beached. When these boats were manufactured, the builder claimed their more than one-inch-thick hulls were bullet-proof. Ive never tested this, but her stout construction is forgiving of any bumps one might have against the dock. Moreover, because of their unique design below the waterline, theres never been a documented instance of one flipping.
Last year, this boat appraised for $30,000 (appraisal available); however, this is a project boat that I no longer have time for. If you've got catamaran dreams but a monohull budget, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. These boats don't make their way across the pond very often, and when they do they don't stay on the market long. This boat is located in Stockton Springs Marina, Maine. If you are looking for either a first boat that will keep you safe and easy to handle or want to step it up from a smaller sailboat, or you are looking to have a go anywhere sailboat that is virtually maintenance free, then this would be for you.
Our sailboat, the Bayfield 29 (Neeru Naayi which means Otter in Kannada language), was designed by Ted Gozzard and built in Bayfield, Ontario, Canada. Its made specifically for comfortable cruising, capable of handling bluewater oceans, coastal waters, and even the rough Great Lakes with their 10-foot waves and stormy weather. The Bayfield 29 has a classic look for a fibreglass yacht, with a sweeping sheer line that ends in a bowsprit. Its high silhouette, deep forefoot, long full keel with an attached rudder, and cutter rig make it both sturdy and well-suited for various sailing conditions. She was our first sailboat, and for someone who didnt know how to sail properly when we got her, he was forgiving and kept us safe in the toughest of the great lakes conditions, and made us better sailors.
The Bayfield 29 is a sturdy boat with a heavy displacement (about 8,500 pounds), providing a smooth and stable sail. Its shallow draft lets you anchor almost anywhere, while the cutter rig - a favourite for offshore cruising, which offers flexible sail options for anything from light breezes to storms. The keel-stepped mast adds extra strength and safety. Unlike typical designs, the Bayfield 29 doesnt have a V-berth. Instead, that space is used for a larger head, while sleeping areas include two quarter-berths, a single settee berth on the left, and a pullout double berth on the right, which is easy to set up. The roomy interior has a quality headliner, overhead grabrails, and sliding teak panels for privacy in the main saloon. Behind these, the standard layout includes a galley on the right with a two-burner Origo alcohol stove, and the icebox and navigation station on the left, each with a quarter-berth behind.
Currently, she has been winterized and stored in Sturgeon Bay. Located in Sturgeon Bay,
Wisconsin.

This Holby Marine Tripp 37 is fully equipped for racing and cruising. Ticker comes with a beautiful teak interior and bench seats in the cockpit for 4 to 6 adults. The price has been reduced by $12,000.
She rates 90 under MWPHRF and 654.7 under ORC.
Ticker was designed by William Tripp III who was chief designer for Doug Peterson. She was built by Holby Marine in 1987. The data on the Tripp 37 can be found at: sailboatdata.com/sailboat/tripp-37
Ticker's asking price reflects that over $20,000 has been spent on upgrades since 2020 including carbon fiber racing sails, a dacron cruising mainsail, B&G instruments and other upgrades.
Ticker is a USCG documented vessel and was surveyed in March 2022.
Construction
The Tripp 37 has a divinycell closed foam cored fiberglass deck and hull with an aluminum structural grid. Ticker has a lead keel and a fiberglass rudder. There have been no issues with water intrusion.
Ergonomic Cockpit Design
Ticker has a unique cockpit layout. The primary winches are forward. This creates a standing platform so the trimmer can put his leg muscles into trimming the jib. There are seats aft for guests. The tiller steering enables the helmsman to sit further forward reducing weight in the stern.
Interior
Tickers's main cabin is unfinished teak which belies its potential beauty. The photo of a sistership shows how Ticker will look with 3 coats of varnish. Add new cushions with the varnish and Ticker will look like a Nautor Swan down below. The main cabin has full headroom, galley and nav station. It comes with a B&G chart plotter mounted on a swivel arm so it can also be used on deck. The main cabin has two settees, two pilot berths, and a removable table. There is a two-burner Origo alcohol stove, icebox, and sink. Forward there is a V-berth, enclosed head with sink and marine toilet with macerater pump (both new in 2022). Remove the aft berths and there is no weight in the ends of the boat. Located in Bayview YC Detroit,
Michigan.
