If you are looking for either a first boat that will keep you safe and easy to handle or want to step it up from a smaller sailboat, or you are looking to have a go anywhere sailboat that is virtually maintenance free, then this would be for you.
Our sailboat, the Bayfield 29 (Neeru Naayi which means Otter in Kannada language), was designed by Ted Gozzard and built in Bayfield, Ontario, Canada. Its made specifically for comfortable cruising, capable of handling bluewater oceans, coastal waters, and even the rough Great Lakes with their 10-foot waves and stormy weather. The Bayfield 29 has a classic look for a fibreglass yacht, with a sweeping sheer line that ends in a bowsprit. Its high silhouette, deep forefoot, long full keel with an attached rudder, and cutter rig make it both sturdy and well-suited for various sailing conditions. She was our first sailboat, and for someone who didnt know how to sail properly when we got her, he was forgiving and kept us safe in the toughest of the great lakes conditions, and made us better sailors.
The Bayfield 29 is a sturdy boat with a heavy displacement (about 8,500 pounds), providing a smooth and stable sail. Its shallow draft lets you anchor almost anywhere, while the cutter rig - a favourite for offshore cruising, which offers flexible sail options for anything from light breezes to storms. The keel-stepped mast adds extra strength and safety. Unlike typical designs, the Bayfield 29 doesnt have a V-berth. Instead, that space is used for a larger head, while sleeping areas include two quarter-berths, a single settee berth on the left, and a pullout double berth on the right, which is easy to set up. The roomy interior has a quality headliner, overhead grabrails, and sliding teak panels for privacy in the main saloon. Behind these, the standard layout includes a galley on the right with a two-burner Origo alcohol stove, and the icebox and navigation station on the left, each with a quarter-berth behind.
Currently, she has been winterized and stored in Sturgeon Bay. Located in Sturgeon Bay,
Wisconsin.

$44,500, Complete Ready to Sail!
*(Will entertain REASONABLE offers.)
The Horizon Cat is a classic boat for the diehard traditional sailor a real Cape Cod cat with a shallow fin keel for added stability and windward performance. A high-aspect kick-up rudder is incorporated for convenience and extremely light helm. Quick, nimble, and comfortable, the Horizon Cat has a large cockpit and extensive accommodations. In addition, the exclusive Mastendr mast raising system revolutionizes the trailer-boating experience.
My Horizon 20 Catboat is for the sailor that wants a very low maintenance, safe, and easy to sail vessel. I am in my mid-70's and worked closely with the Com-Pac factory to customize and build this boat to meet this very specific criteria, with special attention that the boat will be kept on a lift in St. Petersburg, FL next to our condominium. It is nice to have the luxury of specifying a newly built boat based on fifty years of sailing, and ownership experience of numerous vessels, including a 41' pilothouse cutter that was custom built in the Far East.
My 2024 Horizon 20 was completed and just launched in November, 2023, with the expectation that we would be able to utilize it for the next few years. However, personal circumstances change quickly at this age and we have moved to Sarasota, FL away from the water. This sadly necessitates selling this almost new boat which has only been used 6-7 times for short 1-2 hours sails in Tampa Bay. The boat met ALL of my expectations as it handles beautifully and is incredibly easy to sail single-handed.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone to purchase this almost new 2024 boat and motor at a SERIOUS PRICE REDUCTION from the manufacturers list price, plus get $3,500 of custom boat lift components included for free that can alternately be used to modify/build a trailer. (NOTE: The Suzuki Outboard manufacturers warranty is good until June, 2028!) Located in St Petersburg,
Florida.

Tahirih (named after an influential female poet in the Middle - East - book on board) has been part of the family for over 20 years. The prior and proud owner had traveled to Alaska with Tahirih and I clearly remember George saying she likes to be under way best
So we took over and left the Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest of the USA to start a journey of our own to what would end up being a few years of unforgettable memories, clearly what shaped and defined us for the rest of our lives.
Tahirih undeniably played a major role in this amazing adventure. Never the fastest amongst the cruising fleet, we always got there, including up the winding river to Pedregal in Panama and through the tight entrance of Bahia de Caraquez in Ecuador. She loved the Trade Winds and crossing the Pacific the most. Bread making in the galley was comfortable thanks to her being so solid, steady and a center cockpit. So leveled she was that kept very busy on board.
Storms we had, and there again, whether at anchor or hove to, she looked after us. Being a center cockpit with a generous dodger, we stayed dry and protected to enjoy the ride.
Tahirh has clearly been built to last, with a thick fiberglass deck and hull and yet, her curved lines make her attractive and chic.
Tahirih's interior is unique as the engine room is central to a number of partitioned areas which display amazing teak craftsmanship. Initially designed to do chartering with two separate on-suite areas, she is generous in space (births and storage) Standing/working space is amazing. Tahirih was commissioned to be part of the opening of the Heiva (Carnival) in Tahiti in 2001. We had the honour to escort the traditional Polynesien canoe The Vaka Moana, its Polynesian crew and the film crew from the French TV marine documentary Thalassa from the Marquesas to Tahiti Nui. Tahirih became a bit of a star then, making this chapter of the adventure a bit of a highlight.
We like to say she sits well at anchor, Tahirih is a window on the Sydney Harbour scene. Located in Australia New South Wales Sydney,

Were moving to Europe for work for the next 5 years, and we need to sell our beloved Sabre 36, NEMO. Shes currently on the hard in Salem, MA.
We originally bought this boat in July 2022, and we have put in a lot of work and over $30K of upgrades. We wanted a project boat as we love such projects and can do mostly everything ourselves. There are still a bunch of projects left to do, mostly all interior work like the headliner, lockers, and install new stainless steel sink in the galley. Again, many projects are still left to do!
If youre handy, youre buying a fantastic boat. She sails beautifully and fast. Has won multiple races around New England under her previous ownership.

Some boats just say Wow these owners Love this boat and have done so many extra things to improve her. Well, that boat is OCEAN DANCER.
A beautiful well-fitted Beneteau 40 CC she has been sailed and lived aboard for some years now by the same couple who are now ready to return to shore. Swallowing the Anchor...
A True Walk on Sail Away - leave tomorrow you can be in Bimini in one overnighter.
Just a few of the reviews:
This boat maximizes spaciousness and big-boat accommodations in a 40-foot hull and all for a relatively low price
Known for their stability and ease of sailing, she would be a fantastic boat for a cruising family to spend time in the islands or a seasoned veteran to seek further shores while doing so in the utmost comfort.
Her wide decks make moving about a breeze, the very large cockpit is great for entertaining or just enjoying the outdoors all while under the security of the custom built hard top. The custom deck box is huge enough to hold all the boats gear and a large familys fun water toys. The sugar scoop stern makes boarding and getting into the water safer and loads of fun.
Downstairs is very well laid out in large spaces with the u-shaped settee table dining or entertaining is a breeze, the butcher block (custom) countertop in the galley not only looks great but is a functional piece of artistry. A full-size fridge has been added for those longer trips to the Bahamas or Caribbean (points unknown) and the need arises to store more perishable.
The spacious 3/4 berth and forward head make for a berth that is fully enclosable for guests or put crew up there, plenty of storage space throughout to store all the gear necessary.
Down the hallway and into the massive owners stateroom here youll find a centerline (extended) queen bed with en-suite full head.
Her spotless engine room floor and dry bilges show just how loved and cared for she is.

Are you ready to live your dream and looking for a comfortable offshore cruiser at an affordable price. Wendelin is classic - one of those good ole boats. A proven design with a pedigree that includes sailing to New Zealand, Hawaii and Mexico (three separate trips which all departed from the Pacific Northwest).
Weve owned Wendelin since July 2000 . 24 years. In 2009-10 we completed a refit before sailing north around the northern tip of Vancouver Island, south to Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and up the Sea of Cortez to Guaymas. She has been in Mexico ever since. We've had the most amazing adventures on her ... all of it safe and relaxing.
Wendelin is currently stored on-the-hard at the marina in San Blas Mexico (just north of Puerto Vallarta. She will be available for viewing in San Blas Mexico around mid January 2025.
Everything on board has been well cared for. The sails, halyards and sheets are all in great shape. The upper and lower shrouds were upgraded in 2010. The interior was recently painted but is in need of a couple of coats of varnish. The topsides could use a paint job as could the deck if you are particularly enthusiastic and needing something to do other than sail😊 The bottom is in great shape. A new coat of bottom paint was applied in Feb of 2024. There have never been blisters on her hull. In 2000 three coats of inter-protect were applied.
Wendelin is a fabulous boat ... solid and sea-kindly with a very balanced helm. She would work well for a skilled singlehander (or an experienced couple, like us, who are able to share small spaces in harmony). We now find ourselves ageing (what a shock!) and no longer with the time and energy that she needs.
Wendelin is fully equipped with a few exceptions. A detailed list of equipment is available upon request. Located in San Blas Nayarit Mexico,

PRICE REDUCED 11/6/24!!
Affordable Blue Water Cruiser with newer Yanmar Diesel, Ideal for cruising the Chesapeake and beyond.
Easy cockpit layout for a couple, and a cutter rig that is simple to shorten if the wind picks up. The self tacking Staysail and Yankee combination is easy to tack without having to grind winches and the dutchman reefing on the mainsail allows simple raising and lowering of the main.
sailingmagazine.net/article-1166-cape-dory-36.html
John Kretschmer recommends the CD 36 in his book, SAILBOATS FOR A SERIOUS OCEAN. It makes his top 25 list for blue water cruisers. "He said this about the Cape Dory/Robinhood 36 No list of serious sailboats would be complete without a Carl Alberg design. He designed many boats and the Cape Dory 36, which later morphed into the Robinhood 36, is a fine example of a capable bluewater cruiser. I am not a fan of full keel boats in general, however the moderate proportions of the CD 36, handsome sheer, balanced rig and stout construction easily persuaded me to include this boat in the book. Well proven and widely available, its a good choice for serious sailing".

This Holby Marine Tripp 37 is fully equipped for racing and cruising. Ticker comes with a beautiful teak interior and bench seats in the cockpit for 4 to 6 adults. The price has been reduced by $12,000.
She rates 90 under MWPHRF and 654.7 under ORC.
Ticker was designed by William Tripp III who was chief designer for Doug Peterson. She was built by Holby Marine in 1987. The data on the Tripp 37 can be found at: sailboatdata.com/sailboat/tripp-37
Ticker's asking price reflects that over $20,000 has been spent on upgrades since 2020 including carbon fiber racing sails, a dacron cruising mainsail, B&G instruments and other upgrades.
Ticker is a USCG documented vessel and was surveyed in March 2022.
Construction
The Tripp 37 has a divinycell closed foam cored fiberglass deck and hull with an aluminum structural grid. Ticker has a lead keel and a fiberglass rudder. There have been no issues with water intrusion.
Ergonomic Cockpit Design
Ticker has a unique cockpit layout. The primary winches are forward. This creates a standing platform so the trimmer can put his leg muscles into trimming the jib. There are seats aft for guests. The tiller steering enables the helmsman to sit further forward reducing weight in the stern.
Interior
Tickers's main cabin is unfinished teak which belies its potential beauty. The photo of a sistership shows how Ticker will look with 3 coats of varnish. Add new cushions with the varnish and Ticker will look like a Nautor Swan down below. The main cabin has full headroom, galley and nav station. It comes with a B&G chart plotter mounted on a swivel arm so it can also be used on deck. The main cabin has two settees, two pilot berths, and a removable table. There is a two-burner Origo alcohol stove, icebox, and sink. Forward there is a V-berth, enclosed head with sink and marine toilet with macerater pump (both new in 2022). Remove the aft berths and there is no weight in the ends of the boat. Located in Bayview YC Detroit,
Michigan.

Jeanneau sailboats are known for excellent sailing performance and craftsmanship. This vintage 1985, 36 Jeanneau Sunshine has had only 2 owners and is ready to sail the Chesapeake Bay. She has a generous v-berthh and two aft cabins; forward 1-head layout; ample cockpit; and plenty of storage. The tall interior offers comfort and functionality. The salon and the well-equipped galley provide all you need to prepare and enjoy meals.
We've enjoyed years of cruising with family and friends. Single-handed sailing is manageable as well with lines conveniently run to the cockpit. She is clean and ship shape with newer main sail and jib. We enjoyed a comfortable cruise up the Chester River in Summer of '23 but, in our retiring years, we are transitioning to a different cruising experience and have already purchased a trawler. A recent inspection revealed age-related softness on the deck and cockpit floor. Winter is a great time to address these issues so you can enjoy the next sailing season.
The outside hull was cleaned and bottom painted in fall 2023 with an antifouling ablative paint.

Home built in Indiana by Robert Browning in 1967. Sailed by the builder and his wife until I purchased the boat in 2008. I refinished the mahogany in 2009, and repainted the hull and deck some years later. The steel centerboard is powder coated. The sails are structurally sound but are worn out and should be replaced for good sailing. I have a spinnaker pole and sail. The spinnaker sail is in good shape. The boat includes a custom built trailer with good tires. Also a mast cover for transportation. Boom vang (steel cable) may need to be replaced. Floor boards are removable.

Truly remarkable small boat, I don't really want to let her go but I am currently a 4 boat owner and need to be realistic. I have been picking away at this project for over two years and what follows is a detailed description of what's been done and what still needs to be done. The boat has been hauled out for the last year as work and life have got in the way.

The arch where the mast is 1.25" solid fiberglass plus there is a teak tree trunk of a compression post. Insulated overheads and hillside, nicely finished locker trim. Top notch construction/joinery everywhere you look.
The good:
Nice isomat anodized spar, internal halyards, steps up the mast, matching twin 15' whisker poles each on its own track.
6 x Barlow bronze self tailing winches
Bronze external chain plates.
CLC eastport pram in bronze and teak chocks on deck
New newfound metals bronze handrail fittings with new stainless tubing.

The 343 is comfortable on deck and below, it is easy to handle and maintain, and it performs well through a wide range of conditions. Designed by the team of Berret and Recoupeau, the 343 hull is voluminous, there is plenty of freeboard and wetted surface is kept to a minimum. Beam is moderate but it is carried well aft, indeed maximum beam is somewhere around the companionway. South of the waterline the narrow keel section flares aft along its foot. The standard three-bladed propeller is supported by a molded skeg, and the balanced rudder is placed well aft, providing good steering control, especially when deep reaching. Located in Stockton,

GULFSTAR 43 CENTER-COCKPIT SLOOP
ROUND THE WORLD or LIVE-ABOARD - this boat has done both.
From the Golden Age of fiberglass yachts, this 1979 boat is solidly built with a beautiful teak interior and a safe, thick hull. A renowned bluewater yacht, with a RECENT ENGINE replacement, new Raymarine instruments, and a comfortable live-aboard layout.
The Gulfstar 43 Mark II is a center cockpit sloop, 43 long, nearly 12 beam, and a 5 modified fin keel with skeg-hung rudder. She is in good condition, ready to go.
INTERIOR: Inside she is beautifully built in teak, with a teak and holly sole, and over six foot headroom in most areas. From the bow, she has a double berth forecabin: private head with two entrance doors; a large salon with a leafed table, opposing settees and a diesel heater; a full galley with recent refrigerator; a navigation area and seat with integral toolbox; then back through a passageway lined with cupboards to the engine room; and on to the master cabin with queen bed and separate head. Huge amounts of storage throughout, with more fitted cupboards than usual.
The first owner was a rocket scientist (really!) I have owned and maintained her since then, but I have hardly used her over the past few years, so I have reluctantly decided to sell her. Private sale, no dealers please. Located in Marina del Rey Los Angeles,
California.

I had purchased this Pearson 367 in 2021 with a plan to refit and sail the Caribbean singlehanded. My life has changed and I am no longer able to pursue that goal.
Boat is currently mid-refit. She is not currently sailable, but would be ready for the water with very little additional work. On the hard in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Work I have completed:
All portlights replaced with New Found Metals, stainless steel portlights. All portlights open and come with screens. ($6,000 spent on NFM portlights and screens).
Refit of all inside lighting. All upgraded to LED.
Added multiple 12v charging ports throughout the boat.
Added multiple Caframo fans throughout the boat.
Refit of 12v and 110v electrical panels. Created custom drop-down panel to allow easy access to back of electrical.
New grey water Whale pump.
New faucet in head, galley, and shower.
Bilge and all lockers thoroughly cleaned repainted.
Battery cables replaced.
Items I have purchased which have not been installed yet:
Water heater
Pex plumbing- installation is about 50% complete.
Memory foam mattresses for the v-berth.
Froli system for v-berth.
3 in 1 transponder
Backbone and all parts for NMEA system.
Bilge pump and float.
New teak handholds for topsides.
Engine is not currently in a state to turn on. It does work, but would need a solid tuneup to get it in working order. Located in Warwick,
Rhode Island.

Heres a rare opprotunity to own a fine example of Tom Colvins most popular design. This 1972 Gazelle, a chinese junk rigged schooner that has been well loved and upkept for its entirety. She has successfully sailed the North and South Pacific many times over. s/v Vagrant has been gone through repeated refits and shows very well. She semes to have one of the finest finishes down below for a Gazelle and has a very comfortable layout. She comes with many spares and accesories to take off cruising now! Or keep her in the Pacific Northwest as a unique first or second home or daysailer. The steel hull brings great peace of mind for navigating the log strewn pnw at night and the shallow draft opens up way more anchorage opportunities around the world. Shes the jewel of every anchorage, and under sail she gets continous nods to her romantic lines. She is berthed in East Sound now for a sea trial.
The forward v berth sleeps two with built in cabinetry with two portlights for ventilation. The head has a deluxe new composting toilet with 12V fan. Smells great. Comes with a supply of cococoir. The salon sleeps 2 with lee cloths plus a quarterberth to port. The aft cabin sleeps two and houses the chart table/desk zone/radar along with all the spare sails and PFDs. The engine room has pass through access to both cabins.
The standing and running rigging are in great condition. This boat needs nothing to go cruising again. It visited the Gulf Islands twice this summer. The Isuzu with fixed 3 blade prop is very dependable and economical. The solar is extremely effecient. When cruising, we run the fridge 24/7 without any need for alternative power generation. That is why the new shore power equipment on board was never installed. The three heat sources are by propane and diesel and engine coolant. She would make a fine liveaboard and is fully insulated. Your go anywhere waterfront tiny home.
Vagrant has proven to be very low maintenance. She is water tight and all topside paint is in good condition. If you have ever wanted to re-spark your love for sailing, the junk r Located in San Juan Islands Orcas,
Washington.

"A big, fast, beautiful performer, tough enough to sail anywhere in the world and comfortable enough to seriously try it!" - as advertised when she first came out in 1979.
Sadly selling because of an unforeseen move to Europe.
She's very stable and forgiving, shows some signs of age, but is very reliable and forgiving in handling.
Built by Seafarer Fiberglass Yachts in Huntington, New York.
Sails are of age but are fully usable and good to handle, roller furling works smoothly, and standing rigging is fully functioning as confirmed by a professional rigger. Even comes with a spinnaker and a spinnaker pole!
A "turn-key" boat, ready for the next adventures!
Short background story:
I got her for me and my fianc and we planned to go cruising and stay over frequently. We got only the best and original replacement parts- now unfortunately were moving out of the country and sadly have to let her go.
The interior has a headroom of 6 2" throughout, is super spacious and bright, and the galley is very conveniently set up.
Some interior woodwork has been replaced or painted by a professional. Wonderful homey feeling!
Pressurized, cold/and warm water system, porta potty (saltwater head can easily be added - new fitting thruhulls&seacocks installed and holding tank and pump out pump on board).
One side of the deck has some crazing, likely due to years of one-sided sun ray exposure. Overall some small fixes here and there would be appreciated, but shes currently perfectly functioning! I sailed her around Long Island Sound this spring for two weeks continuously and she performed wonderfully!
She can be seen on the hard @ Moonbeam Gateway Marina in Brooklyn - and can be launched and kept on the dock anytime. Marina fees are included until October 15th.
Happy to help sail her to another nearby marina if needed.
Sold as is: $6000 (priced for quick sale)

Rough but sailable and livable. I bought this boat at auction in Monterey, California in September of last year, and sailed it 1200 miles down to Pacific Mexico, with no problems. Used about four gallons of diesel over the whole trip, so you know she can sail. The boat is currently on the hard in San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico, in one of the greatest cruising areas of the world. The yard storage fee is paid in advance in full until February 2025 (was around $250 a month, not sure what it will be this year). The yard allows working on the boat, but not living aboard while on the hard. I'm told a studio apartment can be found in town for about 600 USD per month.
Looking for well-informed and motivated new owner who will not abandon her. Located in San Blas Nayarit Mexico,
Outside United States.

SOVEREIGN, a rare gem, was built in Germany in 1953 and sports a few modern upgrades yet she retains her original glamor and style. SOVEREIGN has recently completed an extensive yard period in Port Townsend Washington, under the care of the experienced and well known Port Townsend Shipwrights Co-op where her masts were restored, her deck trim replaced, additional systems were attended to, and fresh varnish applied throughout. This owner, the seventh, is unable to sail this vessel befitting the vessel itself and the heritage, the history, the stories, and the experience within the surviving Concordia fleet.
Built in 1953 in Lemwerder Germany by Abeking and Rasmussen, SOVEREIGN is a classic wooden yacht the Concordia Yawl 39, Hull #15. The Concordia Yawl is a special class of wooden yawls and was designed by naval architect Raymond Hunt with input from Llewellyn and Waldo Howland. The Concordia Yawl was designed to withstand heavy wind and choppy waters making her the perfect sailboat for both racing and comfortable cruising. As one of the most enduring yachts designs in sailing history, she has collected as many trophies as any class in oceans racing history while proving that a winning boat can be as beautiful as it is comfortable to sail. There were 103 Concordia yawls built, of which all are still afloat, making the Concordia Yawl class the largest class of large one-design wooden sailboats. The Concordia boasts an oak keel, steam bent laminated oak frames, African mahogany planking, bright mahogany deck trim, bronze plank fastenings and galvanized iron keel bolts. The rigging consists of hollow spars, including a carbon fiber spinnaker pole, multiple sails, stainless steel rigging, galvanized tangs, bronze fittings and winches. The Concordia Yawl is recognized worldwide with a majority residing on the East Coast and Europe.

Union River Presto 30 Sharpie Cat Ketch
Formerly named "Thorfinn"
This award winning Cat Ketch design by Rodger Martin was built by the Union River Boat Company in 2010. Extraordinarily innovative, this sailboat draws only 13" with centerboard, rudder and
outboard retracted; making her one of the only truly "beachable" 30' sailboats available. Her interior
accommodations include sleeping for 4, and enclosed head and basic galley. Her 8'6" beam allows her to travel over the road on her custom trailer without the need for wide load permits. Her twin carbon, wishbone rigs have a low center of effort, making her extremely stable and fast.
Her masts and can be stepped on her trailer or in the water with the included gin-pole.
10'6" long cockpit comfortably seats 8 people.
Construction is incredible for her size:
Hull: Hull is built with vinylester resin, NCS (non-crimp structural) E-glass, and Corecell A500 core. Bow reinforced with aramid patches in case of accidental collisions. VARTM,also called vacuum infusion, is a closed-molding technique that increases the glass-to-resin ratio, ensures the laminate is consistent and free of voids, and produces a lighter, stronger part.
Deck: Hand-laid deck built with polyester resin, NCS E-glass, and vacuum-bagged Corecell A-500. High-density core is used in way of
highly-loaded, through-bolted hardware, and epoxy (G-10) plates are laminated
into the deck for tapped fittings.
Hull-to-deck joint: The modified shoebox hull-to-deck joint is bonded with Plexus (methacrylate structural adhesive) and through-bolted with -inch stainless-steel bolts.
Keel and rudder: Centerboard and rudder are vinylester/E-glass composite construction. The centerboard has 90 pounds of lead embedded in syntactic putty to add enough weight to keep the centerboard down while underway. The rudder gudgeons and rudder head are carbon-fiber/epoxy construction.
Rig: Two bilge-stepped, carbon-fiber, free-standing
spars. Located in Franklin,
Tennessee.

1986 38' Custom Steel Cruising Sailboat

Sturdy well maintained freshwater trailer sailor ready to go. Selling due to purchase of a larger boat for extended cruising. If I had the time to keep and sail both I would, but I'd rather someone else continue to enjoy and take care of her.
Background:
Purchased 3 years ago (saw very little use with previous owner since 2013). Do not have a complete history, but based on conversations with PO and documentation aboard there is evidence of 3 owners including me. Have been to the Florida Keys (Marathon) twice and a trip to the Puget Sound (Olympia to Port Townsend). At cruising weight (tools, provisions, etc), boat & trailer weighs 7000lbs. Highway towing with a stock 5.7L 2011 Toyota Tundra 4x4 maintaining posted speed limits is not an issue.
Heavy, but does sail well in winds above 8kts. Have been out single handing sustained mid-high 20s with gusts into 30s and felt safe. Settles in at about 10 degrees heel angle. Received second place in the 2023 Lake Pueblo Sailing Club Commodores Cup w/ PHRF rating of 312. This model is also featured in Twenty Small Sailboats to Take You Anywhere by John Vigor if you're interested in more model specific details
Overall:
No soft spots. All portlights and hatches seal completely (no leaks). Some hairline gelcoat cracks typical of age but no excessive crazing. Fuel tank removed for inspection and in serviceable condition but never used. I use a small aux tank located in lazarette (estimate .15-.2 gallons per hour based on logs). Water tank removed for inspection and repair, replaced with 29 gal flexible (removable) water bladder with vented/pressurized electric faucet in galley.
Engine:
Start and runs without issue. Yanmar YSB-8 with 400 hrs. Note: purchased with hour meter inop. PO replaced old engine with (290 hr freshwater engine). I have detailed hours mx logs, which is what I use to keep track of current hours. Located in Colorado Springs,

I upgraded from a hobie sailboat to this beautiful catboat. I wanted something larger to take my kids and guests along.
This gorgeous boat is a mini yacht!
It has two berths, with an option to connect them in the middle for a super sized double.
A sink, ice box, and lpg stove make up the galley.
The head is an easy to manage porta-potty and a separate vanity sink.
The boat is beautifully appointed, with teak trim, a bow pulpit, and a traditional ships wheel completes the helm. If you love classic styling, this checks all the boxes!
A catboat has a large single large sail - this makes it easy to sail single handed, and no slouch off the wind.
A drop down centerboard allows gunkholing and getting where other boats can't, but even with it up the built in skeg means no sacrifice in upwind performance.
The 8hp outboard is more than adequate for this boat, and raises out of the water when sailing so it has no drag, unlike an inboard. It's also much easier to service.
Best of all, it has the easiest mast raising and lowering system, doing it myself takes literally minutes to go from trailer to fully rigged!
She could use minor polishing on exterior trim, and some paint touch up to her bottom.
There is some gelcoat cracks as usual for a boat this age.
This boat was kept in freshwater on lake Keuka in upstate NY until I bought her this summer, and she was lifted into the water, so the trailer was never in the water. I trailered the boat 275 miles down to where I live without issue - All lights work, and the trailer has surge brakes.
Title for boat and trailer registration are in hand.
The reason I am selling is since I trailer launch and sail usually single handed, it's just too much boat for me. I got a good deal on it, I'd like to pass on some of those savings to her next loving owner.

Awesome boat in good condition.
The original 320 was introduced in 1993 with over 1,000 hulls built. The 320 incorporates contemporary styling, smart ergonomics and the latest convenience features along with the excellent performance and handling characteristics the 320 is known for. The sail plan, weight and underbody of the original model has been preserved and continues the integrity of the class, so one-design 320 racing sailors can compete aboard all the 320 models.
From the large cockpit follow the lifelines toward to the bow and find easy passage to the fore deck with wide walkways and stainless steel handrails. Below decks you will find a very organized interior with a 3 cabin layout. The galley features large and easy to access double refrigerated/freezer icebox, double stainless sink, gimbaled propane stove/oven, and lots of storage. The private aft cabin has plenty of room to stretch out and offers ample storage and a changing seat. There is good access to the new Beta Marine engine from both the main cabin and the aft cabin.
The main salon has a dinette to port that converts to a double. The settee to stbd is a single. The galley is a U shaped set up that is smart and convenient. The head/shower is opposite to starboard and easy to maintain. As mentioned the enclosed aft stateroom has made this boat a hit and has been copied by the other manufacturers but not as successfully. There are no cushions currently for the aft stateroom. Located in Port Charlotte,
Florida.

Deck & Hull
The hull and deck are hand laid solid fiberglass. The deck is balsa cored for additional strength and stiffening. The keel configuration is a long keel with interior centerboard.
The three bladed-fixed prop is protected in an aperture. The rudder is a balanceo semi-skeg.
Optional features include extra height teak toe rails and a teak rub-rail with polished stainless steel striker. The stemhead fittings and all chocks are custom castings and highly polished. There are two teak dorade boxes with polished stainless steel dorades and polished stainless steel guards.
Lifelines are double and have opening gates both port and starboard.
Whether cruising on a beam reach or sailing close hauled, the large cockpit offers safety, comfort and protection from the elements. High coamings make for a nice deep cockpit with comfortable backrest. The flat, teak capped, wide coaming tops offer extra seating and sure footing. Traveling fore and aft is safe and easy with the wide side decks, high bulwarks, tall stanchions and coach roof mounted handrails. The flat, open bow offers generous room for deploying the anchor, sun bathing or changing the sails. The 44 Aft Cockpit Cruiser shares the same performance hull with the 44 Deck Saloon, but comes in a lower profile. The boat was drawn by noted designer Glenn Henderson and sports some rather intricate features not usually found on cruising boats of this size. First is a "Bow Hollow", which increases the flow of water in the forward sections and increases hull speed. Second is a "Stern Reflex", which allows a flatter exit wake and less turbulence. This also increases performance. Hunter has learned much from the recent IOR boats and has incorporated some into cruising boats to enhance their performance without sacrificing comfort and the ease of sailing. The 44 Aft Cockpit offers superior amenities and comfort. A unique forward stateroom layout featuring a V-berth style double bed provides plenty of space and storage. The salon is full beam and allows for entertaining and dining in grand style. Aft, is the master stateroom, which is enhanced by carrying the wide beam well aft. Inner spring mattresses are standard and the finely finished teak interior and cabinetry are first-class. Located in Oriental,
North Carolina.
