Description: It's not often you get the chance to purchase Hull #1 of any model. Here's your chance with this Pearson 365. Built for Pearson Head Designer William H. Shaw, this beauty introduced the 365 to the world at boat shows. As you can see from the photos, she has been maintained to Mr. Shaw's standards. William Shaw was experienced in sailing boats from 24' to 72' and came to the conclusion the ideal size for a sailboat would be between 35' and 38'. That explains the design for this Pearson 365. It was designed to be large enough to carry people and the things they must take with them but small enough to be easily managed. We think you will find Pegasus has the accommodations for a comfortable cruise and the performance to get you to your destination quickly. The interior was designed to be comfortable and efficient. The forward stateroom has a spacious v-berth. The head compartment features head, mirrored vanity with sink, and shower stall. In the open salon there is a convertible settee port side. Starboard is a second convertible settee with fold-away drop-leaf dining table. There is ample salon storage for all your gear. Aft we have a large chart table with full electronics and a swing-away seat. Electronics include a Garmin GPS interfaced to the computer, a second Garmin GPS interfaced to the auto pilot, a Standard Eclipse VHF radio, a Furuno NavTex receiver, a Sitex SSB receiver, and an Autohelm 6000 auto pilot with backup 3000 auto pilot.

Equipment: There's also a hand-held VHF radio and hand-held GPS. Across from the nav station is a full service galley with Force 10 propane range with oven, Adler Barber super cold machine, stainless steel sink with fresh water pump, and storage for all your kitchen necessities. The interior of the 365 has more than enough space for weekend and extended cruises and can easily serve as a live-aboard. On deck we have a large eight foot cockpit with blue dodger and bimini top. The helm pedestal is equipped with Standard Horizon chart plotter and Ritchie compass. Cockpit instruments include AutoHelm auto pilot, data indicators, and sonar. Some of the main features on deck include two 75 watt Siemens solar panels, two 35 watt Siemens solar panels, a Guest Brand self-launching ERPIB, bow pulpit, anchor, windlass, and swim ladder. The cockpit is large enough for friends and family and isn't that the point of a boat this size? Pegasus has a Westerbeke 4-107 diesel engine for auxiliary power, a Westerbeke 3.8kW generator for off-shore electrical power, and a Pur 40 water maker for fresh water. This Pearson 365 is well-designed, well-equipped, well-maintained and ready to sail. This is your chance to own Hull No. One of a classic sailboat, call now to schedule a showing of this beauty.
