The Bayfield 29 has a full keel, cutter rig (two head sails), a shallow draft, and a built-in bowsprit (complete with stylized wooden trail boards on either side of its bow). It is an out-and-out cruising boat that isn’t afraid of heavy wind and seas. Bayfield’s are synonymous with stability, comfort and safety. This is a surprisingly spacious boat with an amazing amount of storage.
Meticlously maintained this boat is ready to go. A recent survey (October 2007) shows she's in great shape with no required repairs to be done.
She has been shown attention to detail since she was brought into our family. She was professionally decorated and has been constantly upgraded. Her teak has been oiled once a week since we have owned her.
She's got a recently installed full enclosure for those bad weather days, cockpit cushions for comfort and extra batteries for those long stays at anchor.
All 6 ports open for fresh air and with a Bayfield you have built in screens for every port and hatch.
