A rare find . . . this O’Day 34’ is a well-kept and comfortable cruiser at a reasonable price! Owned by only two families since its initial launch, and sailed exclusively in fresh water (Lake Michigan). EASY to sail solo or with just one other person. In 2004, the current owner installed an upgraded Harken traveler system to ease control from the cockpit, and a new, Lewmar 30 AST, 2-speed, self-tailing mainsheet winch. Forestay was replaced in 2006. She is in above-average condition for her years. Stunning teak interior, with custom newer upholstery. See below for all of the Extras included in this low price!
Sleeps 6 (V-berth, convertible dinette, salon berth, and quarter berth at chart table). The U shaped galley lays off to port as you come down the companionway steps and the head is forward, aft of the V-berth. Galley includes two top-loading ice boxes (one with freezer and 110v refrigeration), a 2-burner propane stove & oven, double stainless steel sink with pressure H/C water. Interior offers teak bulkheads and ample storage. Fold-down table seats up to six for meals at L-shaped dinette, or table can easily be removed to allow for more open cabin space. H/C shower. Auto/manual bilge pump. Cockpit is T-shaped with seat hatches opening to a large locker and storage bins. |
