I can send you more pictures, this site only allows a limited number. Grand Escape is built in Italy. 12V and 110v electrical systems. She is a high-end offshore performance cruiser a true Sailors Boat. Extremely well balanced, even in high winds under sail can be steered with two fingers.

In most cases these days I sail this 50ft boat single-handed at 76 years old.

She is a two-owner boat that I have loved for nearly 30 years. She has been Caption maintained since new. Most of the 30 years I have owned her she has been sailed on the Chesapeake Bay with offshore trips. During summer she is located Northern Chesapeake Bay on the Sassafras River. During the winter she is on the hard in New Jersey.

In 1985 Grand Escape was featured in Sail Magazine not a sister ship this boat ! I have a copy of the article. Also featured at the Annapolis Boat show the same year.

She is very well equipped and underwent a refit about eight years ago costing over $125,000.00 plus.

Grand Escape is a high-end boat, new replacement value as equipped in the $900-$1,000,000 range and she sails like $1,000,000 sailboat at a fraction of the price 😊
The only thing she truly needs is a younger owner to sail anywhere you choose.

Electronics including Garmin 15" gps monitor mounted under the dodger and a second 12" monitor at the nav station, not a repeater a second free standing unit, both units can be operated by remote control. GPS Can also be connected to a laptop and run a second navigation program if desired. Also equipped with Garmin Radar and Sirius satellite weather. Dual Simrad wind , depth , direction in cockpit and repeater at nav station. New 6k generator, auto pilot, forestay & backstay, two marine radios with a repeater in the cockpit, rebuilt anchor windless, rebuilt Max-Prop , rebuilt roller furling, high output alternator with 4 stage charging, 5 solar panels with a four-stage controller, 17,000 BTU heat/air conditioner, water heater, modern battery controller , New 2k invertor/100amp charger, new freshwater and discharge pumps, hot water heater , new canvas and more. . Plus, a custom-built radar arch with unique dingy davits that have two arms that lower the dink to the water. The davits were designed by a local engineer. Rib inflatable dinghy with a Johnson 15Hp 2 cycle electric start and a Mercury 4 hp 4 stroke and boat trailer included. 3 new 8D and new start batteries were installed, She also comes with and unbelievable number of spare parts both on the boat and at my home. Spares cost at least $6,000.00. Comes with two spinnaker poles, a whisker pole and five spinnakers.
